Problem is, no one is Conservative or Liberal: they are liberal on some things, conservative on others and still, apathetic in others.

I am a liberal in the way Hitchens was a liberal. I believe in small 's' socialism, free markets and social liberalism - but I think the left and it's culture of PC is disgraceful and ultimately self destructive.

I'm a liberal, and tend to vote democrat. I'm not a fan of either party now but realpolitik favors the democrats for me right now. However, if MRA were the ONLY thing I cared about, I'd vote to the right. There's just too many things in the republican platform that I can't personally stomach. It's a pretty bitter pill either way, and I can respect others having different priorities. It IS a democracy (well, in theory), and I'm not going to consider someone else an idiot if they have different priorities, especially when all the options on the table are so repulsive. We're kind of arguing Burger King vs MacDonalds when it comes down to democrats versus republicans.

Sure, FEMINISM is left wing policy. But people don't seem to realize that men's rights also transcends feminist gender theory. Turning right will weaken feminism, but at the cost of strengthening other problems like conservative gender roles.

Left or right, NEITHER care about men's rights.

Thank you. It's hard to have an intelligent conversation when every traditionalist within a 5 internet radius dismisses your ideas because you are a female democrat and therefore are obviously incapable of sympathizing with the plight of men.

I also don't understand the idea that the MRM is a conservative movement. Conservatism aims to either maintain the status quo (prevent change) or go back to the way things used to be (reverse change). Aside from the traditionalist minority, most MRAs don't want to remove the rights of women, they simply want to advance the rights of men. That sounds pretty progressive to me.

Do most liberals call out the Marxists within their ranks when they support big government spending, debt and corruption? No.

The logic is the same. The day I will respect feminism is the day I will also respect liberalism. And I don't think the day is coming soon.
