Wikipedia is a biased source of information. In 2018, Amnesty International launched a campaign called the Feminist Wikipedia Takeover that employed tens of thousands of feminist volunteers around the globe to edit Wikipedia such that it gives a favourable picture of feminism. You are not going to find an unbiased understanding of feminism on a website such as Wikipedia.

Point of order, Wikipedia is expressly about "verrifiability not truth" and extends that concept to opinions as well to avoid 'having to show both sides of the argument with Nazis for example,' which effectively means their opinions are decided by the MSM, since those are considered the sufficiently official sources for opinions and they all say the same thing. I tried multiple times once to edit an entry I knew to be factually incorrect and had it counter edited to it's original version by some puppy guarding old hands who slapped me with the "verifiability, not truth" guideline and reported me to the "mods" or whatever they call their equivalent.

At this point nobody should use Wikipedia for almost anything; if modern politics has any opinion at all on the topic, Wikipedia will not be trustworthy about it.

You know what is extra laughable? I don't even think the minor nod to sexism effecting "anyone" is even an acknowledgement that men might possible maybe sort of kind of could be impacted by it a little. We don't even get that much.

Rather, it is a nod to woke, because they know that all the trans and made up gender people would whine and cry transphobia if the feminists reserved sexism for women alone. So they want to leave space for some non-binary person being subject to sexism. It is not for men's benefit since their magical theory of patriarchy makes it impossible for men to be victims of anything.

yo i went through the wiki article and for it actually works, for the most part, thats all i can say about the specific content.
"The examples and perspective in this section may not represent a worldwide view of the subject. You may improve this section, discuss the issue on the talk page, or create a new section, as appropriate. (March 2021) (Learn how and when to remove this template message)"
the writing of the article is biased for sure but they encourage further improvement of the article, they put this at the end of the history section to encourage people to bring in more history to sexism
and also there are like 336 referenced texts and fairly large Bibliography section
of cause that doesn't excuse they highly skewed narrative the article paints but that has more to do with the general public's biased views on sexism

Women have historically been the primary victims of sexism, at least in the modern western world. That's not outrageous. And most misogynists do seem to prefer women to remain in separate, lower-power positions. And there are plenty of men's rights groups that seem to only exist to cry "feminism bad" (I see it here ALL THE TIME) rather than outlining legitimate, realistic policy changes that really reinforce equal opportunities.

Honestly this isn't a men's rights issue. If you want wikipedia or whoever to take men's rights seriously stop whining about dumb little things like this.

Wikipedia can be changed and updated by pretty much anyone. It doesn't have an ounce of trustworthy information. It's essentially an opinion site which is why you cannot use it to quote in assignments. We were told it would be an instant fail if we did so.

I mean. I don't totally disagree with the first two images. Or at least, I don't blame Wikipedia for having misinformation.

It is really easy to see when women are discriminated against because stories about it blow up everywhere, and our history revolves around it. It's directly taught in schools.

I get that "Patriarchy" is a trigger word, but I can agree that misogyny is more or less a form of sexism used to keep women down.

I get the hate around the third image, but to be fair, the site says "Many scholars." It is saying that many people hold "this" belief. It is not outright saying that MRM is misogynistic. Infact, in the first paragraph, I feel like it sums up the movement pretty well.

I believe that the third image is quite accurate. The description of the movement is correct from what I can tell, and it *is* true that many scholars view this movement as misogynistic.

I see no reason to hate on Wikipedia.
