Here's a link to a video I found really interesting:

Videolink

So the basis of the video is that feminists decry "nice guys" as entitled and creepy because they hope to get sex in return for friendship and favours. The "nice guy" side of the coin is that there is no entitlement, which is exactly why they work so hard on getting the woman to like them.

I think this speaks quite loudly of the dynamics of the sexual marketplace - there is nothing more repulsive to a woman than a man who is supplicating and weak, also known as beta. In fact, nice guys/betas have become the newest boogeyman of the dating world.

The TRP stance seems to be that these men, while pathetic, are not necessarily mean-spirited but simply misguided in what women seek in a partner and how you should go about achieving success in self-improvement and pickup.

Do you think nice guys are morally reprehensible and misogynistic or are nice guys just men who were raised as beta and try to get a girl in the only way they know how to? Are women right to despise these men, or are they rationalizing an image in their mind that justifies keeping around several orbiters for attention and favors while rewarding alpha men with sex?

Some backstory: before TRP i was the stereotypiest of nice guys. I had a group of friends that was mostly girls. Now they were reeeally hot so I did my absolute best to be exactly what they described to be their ideal man. They told me I was hot and cute and nice etc. etc. so it never quite computed with me why none of them wanted to have anything to do with me sexually. I never complained about being in the friendzone or demanded intimacy from anyone. I thought just by waiting and listening to them shit on their exes and other dudes that hit on them, eventually they would realize that I was just what they were looking for. I had no idea they secretly thought I was pathetic. I was like a little pet dog. They would say things like "ugh, that creep just hit on me, what a douche. Not like x, x is such a gentleman. I wish I could just meet someone like him", "You'll make such a good boyfriend for someone at some point", and the absolute worst: "omg x, you're like our gay best friend ... just who isn't gay haha!".

In hindsight I realize that there is nothing more unmasculine and pathetic as being purely a friend to a woman. I have since then after finding TRP and shit cut all contacts with said girls.

Now I recognize that I alone am in full responsibility of raising my SMV and aggressively and proactively seeking out plates. Women have the right to like what they like in a man and that doesn't make them evil - if anything it's the nice guys fault for being too stupid to figure it out. When I see one of my male friends or acquaintances acting like a naive nice guy I give them the same slap-around that TRP gave me that I wish I would have recieved years ago. Still, when I see women on the internet viciously shit on nice guys and share how repulsive and despicable they are, I can't help but to feel a small sting. Though I have abandoned everything that has to do with that mentality, I still have sympathy for that innocent misguided kid that I used to be. I still see them shit on the high school me who acted with nothing but respect and kindness towards women, never demanding (though always hoping) for even a hug or a kiss in return.

Maybe I'm still just sour that things didn't go as intended from the start and need to toughen up some more, i dont know.

Anyway, PPD, what's your opinion on niceguys?
