A lot of people mock the concept of being yourself when attracting women. And in all fairness "just be yourself" does sound like something that only works in rom-coms.

But part of being yourself is having a backbone, so let me reframe the concept. If you tell women what they want to hear and regularly capitulate to women you aren't being yourself. If you let your girlfriend make you quit certain hobbies or stop wearing certain clothes you aren't being yourself. In other words you can't be yourself unless you have a backbone.

A perfect example of this is an ex-girlfriend I had. We used to fight and argue on a regular basis. One day I told her to leave and I'll never forget what she said - "It's about time you stood up for yourself".

I also have quite a few examples where women came over to hook up then disrespected me. The most recent one came over and acted like a bitch because she had a bad day. I politely told her to leave, she cried then asked for another chance, then she got really turned on.

As crazy as it sounds kicking women out of your house when they fuck up is a huge turn-on because it shows that you have a backbone. Most guys bend over backwards to please women. Men who aren't willing to do that are more authentic which makes them more attractive.
