I wouldn't think this was controversial, but someone actually tried arguing the opposite side with me recently.

If you cheat on your partner, then you don't care about or respect them. You are doing something incredibly hurtful to them instead of just communicating your issues like an adult.

By contrast: posting about dating frustrations online hurts no one, let alone the purported most important person in your life.

This is just example #9364656 of "We REALLY want lonely men to think they're toxic and it repels women, even if that makes no sense!"

The people who think that women can "sense toxicity" usually dodge the question of abusive partners by just saying "Hey, abuse is really serious! If you bring it up just to win an argument, you're just a bad person!"

But cheating is so ubiquitous that they can't do that. Virtually *every* woman has a story about a cheating ex.

So we end up here, with utterly pathetic attempts to explain how cheating men are too heterogeneous to give off a signal, while men who fail to attract women at all are all incredibly "toxic." It makes no sense, but it's not supposed to. These people just want lonely men to feel bad about themselves while reassuring attractive men that cheating is totally normal behavior that leaves no indication of personality defects.
