As a lonely man, I am constantly asked "What do you bring to the table?"

I usually respond by saying that women almost invariably find me very funny (which I'm told is very attractive), female friends have frequently used me as a confidant (which must mean I'm emotionally receptive), I'm above average height, no deformities, and have been gainfully employed with my own residence for most of my adult life.

Apparently, none of this is attractive to women. That is fair enough, but could you please just explain what it is that *abusive* men do so well? Whenever I ask about abusive men, I'm told that they're probably funny, charismatic etc. But I am those things also, and it does nothing for me.

Could you just explain why abusive men do so well in dating? I've been told countless times that women are able to sense men's toxicity, so they must do something REALLY exceptional to bypass that and get into relationships.

I am 100% confident that the answers here will be in good faith, and not just endless iterations of "Um, well, it's REALLY easy to tell if someone posts frustrated things on Reddit, but it's impossible to tell if a man hits women." So please present me with these fantastic arguments!
