I'm purple, and a Libertarian.

To be more generalized, I'm a moderate. For example, I am glad we have gay marriage in the US now and I am pro-choice which makes most people assume I'm a Liberal, but I would also like to see an overhaul/reinvention of the current welfare system because I know it is misused by some and do not support having a flood of Middle Eastern refugees in.

I am a borderline anarchist. The reason that I'm not an anarchist is that it's very difficult to sustain that position when you spend time around the general public. Clearly this becomes an unworkable concept.

So I believe that direct representation and direct democracy is a stepping stone to a healthier society, a small step. I believe that people need to understand that they need to have a direct stake in their own lives, rather than standing on the sidelines and moaning about the way that someone else runs it.

I don't believe in political representatives or political parties. I have never voted in an election and I never will. I won't vote until the system changes. I will vote if I have the opportunity to vote for a system that I believe in. (I didn't vote in the United Kingdom Alternative Vote referendum because it was pointless).

In my estimation, the existing system is socialism for rich people and brutal competition for everyone else. So I support anything that is in opposition to this, regardless of whether it comes from the political 'left' or 'right'.

But I don't put my faith in politicians or traditional politics because, at best, you always get let down, and, at worst, it's a completely rigged system that is little more than theatre.

I'm a member of the Socialistisk Folkeparti in Denmark. They're vaguely left-of-centre. I support universal healthcare, free education and other services and am opposed to war, but do believe in conscription and have served in the Belgian military before moving to Copenhagen and then California for work. I'm more in-line with RP than non-RP/BP philosophy.

I generally favor fascism and military based governments, I don't care about civil rights, whatever makes the masses stfu and sit down is good. Feeling based societies are pointless, progress and achievement based societies are good.

I used to be somewhat liberal but I held some skepticisms for their "equality" claims.

After 2016 election? Count me as a conservative. Though I don't line up 100% with Conservative views. The biggest we have in common is reduction of the size of our government and its power over its citizens.

Libertarian/classical liberal in my roots, but I've evolved into a bit of a radical centrist.

I believe the whole reason for the existence of government is protecting individual rights. I believe that civilization is about setting men free from other men. I believe in the free market.

On foreign policy I favor a realpolitik approach. Neither paranoid and passive isolationism, nor naive and dishonest globalism. In a state of anarchy such as what exists between nations, rational self interest is the guiding principle.

On social issues, I believe culture does matter, and I favor assimilation over multiculturalism. I believe societies need to have a common set of values and norms to function, but they can't be set in stone and should not be forced on people. I believe morality is the domain of the individual and I refuse to support government attempts to micromanage people's personal decisions unless it's about the prevention of foreseeable harm, which makes it a matter of ethics rather than a moral issue. I think as societies evolve they become more libertarian.

On economic issues, I think everyone should take a look at a guy named Henry George. He resolves the capitalism vs socialism debate better than anyone I've ever seen. I think he correctly fingers speculation on land and rent-bearing assets as the root of business cycles and cost of living rising higher than wages. His proposals on taxation I think are long overdue.

And finally I support Trump. I think he is chemotherapy for the corrupt, disfunctional, and dangerous groupthink in Washington.

And I think Bernie is a cuck :p

I self-identify as RP and "conservative". It's difficult to add more clarity to that. I have libertarian leanings but I am not a libertarian. I oppose the welfare state in form, but not necessarily in substance. Sometimes I agree with "Red Tories" but not always. Sometimes I agree with the hard right or the "alt-right" but not always.

As a Canadian, I was a card-carrying Conservative. If I were American I would either be an independent or Republican.
