The post below is from a post today by a red piller, Archwinger.

Here in PPD, we recognise this stuff as the red pill's dread levels. some of the women here will have been in relationships where our male partner behaved like this (without him being a red piller).

One: Whether you've experienced it or not, what reaction would the things described by Archwinger make you react?

Two: Would you agree that "this stuff works" only on select women? As in, women who have been treating their partner badly and suddenly realise it (due to the threat of losing him)? Or women who have very low self-esteem and who don't believe they can get another man.

Three: Would you agree that for most relationships, these steps will only make things worse and will backfire?

Four: Would it turn your feelings towards a man you loved (but fought with too much, to the point your sex drive plummeted) into feelings of active dislike/loss of love?

Hey, I used to think like you. I thought this Red Pill shit was kind of silly, and probably a sure-fire way to destroy a relationship. I hit a point where I was pretty much done with my marriage anyway. Mostly-sexless, wife constantly bitching, fighting all the time. I just didn't care any more. I figured this Red Pill shit would be a fun way to hurt my wife. It was like magic. Standing my ground, telling her "no" any time I didn't feel like doing or not doing something (and sometimes telling her "no" just for fun), ignoring, laughing at, or blowing off her shitstorms and complaints, making fun of her for her bullshit, going out without her and doing my own shit, and best of all, getting her desperately worried that I was cheating on her and that she actually stood to lose me -- all of this seems like it would be sure as shit to end a marriage right? It's exactly the opposite of everything you're supposed to do when you love a woman and want her to respect you (and fuck your brains out frequently). It's like a light switch. The very second you have options with one or more other women and one particular woman no longer has the monopoly on pussy in your life, that particular woman stops withholding the pussy and treating you like crap, because she knows you'll bail on her. Suddenly, she's respectful as hell and quits turning you down for sex. Whenever the woman in your life becomes the source of 99% of your aggravations, the answer is always more women. I know that seems like a stupid idea, given that women cause you so much trouble, but the more options with women you have, the less trouble any one woman causes you.

If my guy were to do the things above, I'd be confused as hell and would react by putting up a wall. I need to feel secure and loved and respected in a relationship. I never want to feel like he'll "bail on me" if things don't go his way. If he ever acted like the above, he could irreparably damage my feelings for him.

Many moons ago, a young virgin married a nice guy. Yes, me. But months into the marriage, he changed dramatically and we started fighting. What we mostly fought about was him going out all the time. Him "having other options" was a given - he was good looking and in his early twenties. The fighting and constant disrespect made me fall out of love with him and I no longer wanted sex with him. Like, none. Zero.

We were always fighting. Then, he stopped fighting - instead of talking about it, he started taking off in his car and staying out for hours. He'd expect that I would have "cooled down" by the time he returned.

I didn't cool down.

I divorced him and not for one day ever wanted to go back. When he learned I was leaving him, he started to get violent. Exactly the kind of guy the red pill predicts young women will stay with.
