Think about the “3-date rule” or “3-month rule” or “when should women put out” debate. Us redpill men are insistent on getting women to allow relationships to enter the fourth base, and here’s why.

When a relationship starts out (I.E. first few dates phase), women hold total power over it. Men have to shower women in expensive dates, romance, the world and beyond while women don’t put effort into courting beyond maybe getting dressed for the male courting in question. Here’s where economics play in. It’s now commonplace advice for men to go straight to inexpensive dates like coffee dates, while some women (especially those from FDS) say men should pamper women to distinguish themselves among her options. Essentially, men want to pay the least amount of commitment/romance possible for the most sex possible. I remember a popular post on a women’s sub just this past week about how they feel pressured to split the bill (to men’s surprising dismay), as women believe that most men think expensive dates entitle them to sex.

But why is it so bad for women to make relationships sexual? Because from that point, all power goes to the man (until marriage). Wonder why we redpillers use quotes like “women gatekeep sex, men gatekeep relationships” or “men fuck who they can and marry who they want, while women fuck who they want and marry who they can?” Once a relationship is sexual, whether or not it continues is a man’s choice. That’s why men feel used/objectified when they pay for dinner and get dumped (dine and dash), while women feel used/objectified when they open up sexually and get ghosted (pump and dump).

Men start putting in less effort and treat their girlfriends like booty calls. They give them the absolute bare minimum of attention just so they don’t leave, while only hanging out with them if they know things will turn sexual. Thus while some men ghost immediately after sex, others string women along until a relationship ends to extract as much sex as possible. Fact is, women can use their control over sex to get men to pamper them and do whatever they want. Men can use their control over commitment to get women to fuck them under the [false] premise that they’ll be more romantic. This is why men can string women into “forever girlfriend relationships” for decades, disappointing poor women who are promised that their men will propose.

Now let’s talk about how marriage swing the pendulum in women’s favor (I.E. why the redpill opposes marriage). Marriage legally commits a man to a woman, tying his resources to her. While such a system as marriage exists to bind a man’s resources to a woman, no system exists that entitles a man to sex from a woman (I’m not advocating for such a system, of course). So while men’s commitment and romance plummet after a woman opens up sexually, a woman’s sex drive plummets after they get married.

Overall, it’s female sentiment in dating is “sex is all right, but what I really want is love” while the male sentiment is the exact opposite. It’s why Female Dating Strategies revolve around demanding marriage sooner, staving off sex, and getting consistent commitment, while The Redpill revolves around delaying marriage, pushing for sex soon, and giving volatile commitment.
