So, first off, what is an axiom, commonly a math term, but its more:

"a statement or proposition which is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true."

So basically is a truism.

Now for some logic basics, if we want to reason something, we must first base our opinions from somewhere, this is where axioms come in.

A simple math example of an axiom, would be the following statement: "If there are 2 points in a plane, there is a single and unique straight line that is the shortest path between the 2 points"

Why i explained all of this?

Because all logical discussion comes from a fact that is accepted as truth.

And this is where this sub completely fails in logic, because BY DEFINITION, men and women here and everywhere else have very different lives from each other.

This breeds those experiences and wisdom to be stacked in completely different ways, the ground they stand in the plane of reality is just not the same as another person.

As such, if an attractive man tells another guy "Just ask girls out, it just works", he is not arguing in bad faith with an unattractive guy, because although it just works for an attractive guy, the other person is not in the same position he is so his results will differ drastically.

Similarly when girls say, "just stop simping/being obsessed with sex", they really have no idea how different a man's from a woman's libido is, girls will never feel blue balls like men do (idk if they get this at all).

So i am making this post to state that, if axioms or the core of a person's reasoning isn't aligned with the other, discussion is useless.

Also this plays a role in bad faith discussion, no point in discussing between a guy who is insecure and a girl who has daddy issues, if neither of them reveal the very core of their beliefs, and this will never happen because it is often shameful, ugly, and downright tainted.

I try to be transparent when i discuss but i don't claim to be able to do that perfectly, although i should, it's anonymous after all.

TLDR: you can't really reach any conclusions with people who base their logic out of different things and experiences than yours, from men to women, to ugly to pretty, and couple that with people not being transparent with real reasoning.
