There is no blue pill movement and the red pill movement is named wrong.

The Red pillers are the people trying to keep things the same, not the ones trying to change society and free the slaves.

Blue pilled advice tends to be the main stream dating advice that may have worked 50 years ago but is completely ineffective for the modern man. For example:

Don't change. You'll eventually find someone who likes you for you.
Everyone has a soul mate
You should open up with women, show them your weaknesses
Women don't care about looks
There's someone out there for everyone

Red pilled advice takes out the delusion and looks at reality.

You absolutely should change if things aren't working. If you're not having success than simply being you will mean you remain alone
There is no such thing as a soul mate
If you open up with women and show them your weaknesses they will lose respect and as a result attraction for you
Women care about looks even more than men care about them
There isn't someone out there for everyone. More and more men will die alone having never reproduced

"Blue pill" is basically conventional dating wisdom that your parents/grandparents might give.

A big one IMO is that "love finds you when you aren't looking". As a guy, dates aren't inevitable, much less relationships. You have to approach, likely many times.

Another one is that "someone else can't make you happy if you aren't happy with yourself". This is a coping mechanism for lonely people. No one would invest time, energy, and half their assets for someone if they didn't realize loneliness was making them miserable. Love is too risky to be a thing you do just for the hell of it.

We believed in the importance of personality, especially since the narrative was that women are not as visual/shallow as men are, so guys with a great personality have a good chance. The blue pill is the mainstream view of what men should aspire to attain in order to be a high-value man that women will love.

The ideas in the blue pill are familiar to us, men should be vulnerable and not be afraid to show their emotions. Men should be caring, kind, listen to and respect women. It is sexy when men ask for Explicit Consent when escalating during sexual acts. When courting a girl, give her tons of attention, buy her gifts, spoil her, reply quickly and at length to her messages, always be there for her, make her your priority, let her set Boundaries, and respect them. Most problems can be solved with lots of Communication and Therapy.

It might seem like I am straw manning, but the blue pill is amorphous and is in this general direction. Most humans have a nuanced view on these things and no one is fully blue pilled.

The blue pill teaches us there is a special partner out there for us, she is special, the one. The blue pill discourages men trying to grow/change, they frame it as deceptive to try to become more attractive. They tell men to just be themselves and keep searching, not in an active way rather real Love happens when you meet her organically, in a serendipitous fashion. You will find someone who values you for who you are, in spite of all your flaws. Don't try hard, don't play games. Just be your authentic self. Be positive, confident.

It used to infuriate me way before itself, how people expected their soul mate to find them. They seemed dead set on the romantic notion of a random encounter turning into something serious. Blue pill discourages active searching since it feels unnatural, cold and robotic. Blue pill folk tend to believe that some form of the One or soul mates exist.

There is a lot of mixed messaging, the blue pill tells men not to be Creepy but it also tells men to be confident and put themselves out there. This makes guys scared of approaching strangers and making an advance. They need to know if the girl finds them attractive enough in advance before they can make a move. They will only improve their approach with practice but the consequences of misjudging the context make cold approaches not worth it for blue pilled guys. They would rather err on the side of not bothering any girl. The blue pill also tells men to take advice from females in his life, that girls know what other girls like.

The blue pill tells men to not be shallow and judge girls based on weight, sexual history, having someone else's kid. The idea of objective Beauty is attacked and subjective aspects of beauty are focused on as the major part. They claim Beauty norms are socialized rather than genetically imprinted, they point to Fetishes, cultural differences in what Beauty means.

They underplay the importance of Sex in a relationship and frame the important components as companionship, friendship. Sexual Intimacy is not to be expected or demanded in a relationship, it is freely given.

The Alpha traits that red pill claims are important are played down by blue pill saying you should be too confident to be brash and arrogant. You should not be too ambitious so that you stop prioritizing family. There is a sweet spot while TRP seems to be pushing for men to max these things out without acknowledging the diminishing returns.

Blue pill plays down the advantage of Youth and tells people not to rush into relationships, to take their time. Red Pill tends to say most quality LTR oriented people pair up really early and stay in those relationship for long stretches of time, so with fertility and neoteny affecting attractiveness they recommend women get married in early 20s.

Blue pill believes in assortative mating patterns while red pill points out Red Pill > Hypergamy is what women want.

They Gaslight men about the patterns they notice and shame women who want to judge men on shallow factors. They don't think there are any pervasive lies being told to us as we grow up.

Blue pill thinks gender is largely socially constructed. While red pill folk think gender and sex are highly correlated and causally linked.

Blue pill says that the sexual history of partners is not something that is required to be shared. Everyone has Privacy, they can share their traumatic past if and only if they are comfortable with it.

They think it’s morally wrong to judge a women for her orgies, sharing of nudes, Casual Sex, etc. But it’s not clear if a man’s sexual past is similarly protected if it comes to Prostitution.

Blue pill says you start dating, make sure you are comfortable being alone. You don't need them, they just value to your already great life.

Allegedly, the Blue-pill is society teaching boys that girls are virtuous and will love you unconditionally. They were taught idolise girls.

I’ll be honest, I’m only just understanding what the Blue-pill seems to be; but for the life of me, I don’t see how these people reach adulthood without noticing that that’s wrong. None of the boys I grew up with thought this by fourth grade if they taught this nonsense.

But I do remember being taught: - There’s someone out there for everyone. - People should love you just the way you are. - True love is all a relationship needs.

I guess this is Blue-pill, too, but none of us believed it by middle school - except for a few people that were in denial even now as adults. Most of us realise as kids that this generic, feel good advice.

The Red-pill’s advice depends on who you talk to. For some, it’s men that are just now realising that generic feel-good advice is wrong. Better late than never. But now they act like they’re the only ones aware of “the truth” and that other men are “Blue-pilled” simps. Some are thirsty simps, but otherwise the “truth that society hid from them” is common sense to most people before we’re adults.

Then you have Red-pillers teaching men to build themselves, get in shape, focus on their career - all good advice. Those same Red-pillars teach that women are incapable of thinking logically, exist to experience “tingles” (getting horny) and ride around the cock carousel in our 20’s, then find a man to use when we settle down in our 30’s. And apparently all women will leave their man the second a better option comes along.

Do these women exist? Yes. Is this all women? Of course not. But these people swear up and down that this is all women.

Blue pill is the reality you live on, usually a fake reality, red pill is what happens when you discover things for what they truly are most of the times in an unpleasant way.

For example picture a guy who was raised to believed that he must always let a woman lead him, to shower her in gifts, to idolize her, to be super duper nice to her and not to treat her as a sex object, make her the center of his life and she will love him cuz he is a very good guy and also women are saints uncapable of bad but evil men harm them so thats why he sould aim to be a better man for women, he is bluepilled, fast forward a few years and this guy miraculously found some woman that gave him some attention, and married her, she always called him the perfect husband, then he discovers an unpleasant truth, his poor oppressed angel used to be a college hoe, always put herself as a sex object for all the frat douches to use as a masturbation machine, not only that but she also has cheated on him many times and now left him for a guy that is not even a quarter of a good man, this obviously lets him extremely hurt and confused, he goes online to find answers about why his ex wife prefered a man who wasnt that nice, who leads women rather than letting them have the power, who doesnt makes much gifts to women, who kinds treats her as a sex object, dont make her the center of his life is more loved, appreciated, desired and not used for resources like he is, and by mere coincidence, he finds some red pill forum telling him some reasons that sorta make sense, and from that moment he becomes red pilled

Me and my friend have these discussions/debates at times, me being red pilled him being blue, roughly. We agree on a lot of things regarding female nature and dating, but I noticed that the core difference between us is that 1. He doesn't look at relationships as being a power struggle, he doesn't make decisions based on trying to protect himself from manipulation and getting hurt, while I see them as being an elaborate game of chess, where the smarter player will always be in an advantageous position in relation to their partner. And 2. He is much more forgiving of toxic behavior, which I think is because he has a fear of being alone/discomfort that comes with a breakup, but I remember he chastised me for saying I wouldn't tolerate disrespect from a woman which gave me some insight into his mentality. And 3. He allows himself to become very attached to his partners. He falls in love, loves deeply and loves hard. I say never get too attached because I believe women can be quite fickle, and I believe its important to be able to function alone because companionship is never guaranteed.

I know this is just me and my friend I'm talking about, but I think our discussions are a great example of the difference in mentality of the blue and red pilled men. The blue pill represents vulnerability, trust, risk, openness and raw emotion. The red pill represents stoicism, power, security, and a very self serving attitude. Blue pilled men trust women enough to put them in positions that can allow them to cause them harm but also be of great help, red pilled men don't trust women and keep them in a weaker position at all times for their own protection. Blue pill is equal partnership/female having power, red pill is the man having the power at every turn.
