Reading that thread is very frustrating because it's clear that his GF is in the wrong yet the OP is still with her. And it comes across to me as he seems to be more scared of offending her than doing the right thing and breaking up before it got any worse.

The sad thing is though is that this kind of behaviour isn't rare. And on occasions that isn't just blinded by love or lust relationships. I've seen it happen on both a personal and professional level.

The amount of excuses I've seen and heard a friend/white knight/beta orbiter/saw her on Google images make for a woman when she is in the wrong is sickening.

And even in the media I've read too many movie or tv reviews where you kind of feel that if it's a woman led movie they are holding back on criticism (Ghostbusters and Doctor Who).

Sad part is that I've been guilty of this too. And it's not an attraction thing. If it was then I wouldn't be writing this post.

For me the women in my life tend, in my personal opinion, to overreact to the slightest bit of criticism. So, there have been occasions where I've had to held back what I thought.

And those criticisms were never insulting or designed to make them feel bad. Yet I realised there may be times where I would have to contain my honesty.
