So then explain to me why whenever I see a male feminist, he is almost always some autistic fat neckbeard. See: Barry Deutsch, David Futrelle, the guy in this video. Those are just some of the most popular examples I can think of off the top of my head, I've seen plenty more.

What makes you think these ugly losers embrace feminism rather than reject it the way you predict they would?

My only problem with this is that feminism is a too sweeping term, it is not really that accurate to call any instance of women acting bad (i.e. creep-shaming of unattractive men) just feminism, while it is correct that it is ultimately caused by that, it is just a too broad term.

But generally what happens is this. To a man, most women are roughly equally worthy. Some hotter, some uglier, but roughly equal. So what men really don't understand and don't expect from women that for women an unattractive man is a total, utter worthless waste of space. Calling him a creep or perv is just an expression of that.

And this in itself does not really have much to do with feminism. Feminism comes into play only that in non-feminist periods of history, women were still forced to express a modicum of respect to unattractive men, while today feminist equality allows them to speak up freely and shame the men they consider as useless as nipples on a breastplate.

But the sentiment has always been there, this is why it is not really useful to sweep such things all under feminism.

This open expression of contempt, which was in the past forcibly hidden, does indeed makes the job of unattractive men doubly hard because not only they find it hard to find a girlfriend, they even doubt if they deserve it at all.

Also, are you looking for pity with this post? I see this a lot in RP. You are not engendering pity or even sympathy by acting like assholes and hating on women.

If this is happening, you have bigger problems to worry about.

It's just that girls seem unattainable to you.

Then maybe you should stop defining your social life in terms of "attaining girls". Instead, evaluate (1) your ability to establish deep and meaningful connections with people- if you're "socially awkward" the chances are that you aren't good at this with either gender, and it has nothing to do with women- and (2) how you can put yourself in the optimal situations for doing that. Beyond that, romance is just luck of the draw, and a matter of time. Often times the problem is that people try way too hard; very rarely will pretending to be someone you're not lead to success in relationships, and at that point I would argue it's really not worth it.

Sure, occasionally there might be some particular unattractive quality that is holding you back (i.e. poor social skills), but if you figure out that's the case then take some time to focus on and address the root of that issue, whatever it may be. At the very least, come to terms with it, so that you don't feel like you're constantly trying to make up for it or hide it from prospective love interests. Most of all, learn to detach your sense of self-worth from romance and enjoy your life as a single (your OP does not give off the vibe of someone who has this figured out).

It's ironic because a lot of the non-pop feminists (women who are generally for equality and don't really know all this feminist theory) are awkward females and are probably more open to dating awkward guys. I'd still say that blaming feminism is understandable, but male roles aren't really upheld entirely by feminists but also men and women in general.

They resent guys taking advantage of blackout drunk girls, guys that don't take no for an answer, guys that think "I want to rape you" is a good pick-up line, guys joking about raping someone and guys using words like rape to describe how they defeated someone in an online video game.

Those things aren't what constitutes male sexuality. Those things are part of rape culture. A culture which normalizes rape and presents females as things to use and to look at.

Feminists don't resent healthy male sexuality. Most girls on the so called cock-carousel are sex-positive feminists.
