New to TRP so going to make a disclaimer that I'm not overly familiar with terminology and everything TRP entails. However, reading through articles and posts, it seems a lot of focus is on male/female biological differences and learning how to become sexually attractive; in essence, it feels like a lot of the conversation revolves around pick-up artistry. If TRP theory is about unveiling how men and women operate on a biological level, I'm wondering why men on here are not talking about the biological purpose of sex, namely reproduction (and subsequently, living in a way that optimizes survival and success of one's offspring). Is this absent because TRP caters mainly to younger men?

To provide some rationale:

Geneticists have discovered that there are twice as many women than men in the human family tree (ratio of 2:1) which means that, on average, half of men have reproduced with two women and half of men have not reproduced (going back 8000 years this ratio was 17:1). In developed countries, the ratio is 1.5:1 (which means, on average, 3 women reproduce for every 2 men that reproduce i.e. one-third of men reproduce with two women, one-third of men reproduce with one woman, and one-third of men don't reproduce, which fits with the 50% divorce statistic).

It has also been shown in the field of sex psychology that monogamous societies have prevailed massively over polygamous societies for two reasons: 1) in general, biological parents have the greatest interest in protecting their offspring and most humans prefer to be loved and raised by their sperm/egg donors than by strangers (of course, this is speaking ideally and not necessarily real world scenario in every case) and 2) monogamy acts as a social contract to prevent large populations of frustrated young men lacking mates who, in polygamous societies, often unify to steal women, rape, pillage, and destroy society from within.

Hence, for thousands of years marriage was completely about making babies and creating stable societies. Until the last century, it had nothing to do with romantic love and was completely a pragmatic institution based upon family lines arranging for optimal breeding with other family lines. I guess I am curious why TRP seems to have a rather myopic view of the individual and his self-gratification rather than (if it is truly about biology) a long-term evolutionary perspective?

PS. I will add that I don't truly believe reproduction/raising kids is the only way to find fulfillment and purpose in life. I only mention it here because of all the conversation I am seeing about having sex as an end in and of itself. I believe the other equally valid path in life is finding a way to contribute meaningfully to society i.e. influence future generations and ensure survival of the species through one's work/calling/personal mission. However, this latter discussion is likely better discussed in other subreddits related to purpose, self-actualization, etc.
