Not sure if this belongs on MRP but I'm in an LTR and I'm doing this to become a better me and more credible leader (why should my LTR trust / follow a man who doesn't have control over even his own weight?), so I'll give it a shot. For a while, I was sloppy about my eating and it resulted in me ending up 10 kilos overweight and (obviously) I'm not happy with it. To fix it, I've been doing a keto diet for about a month which stabilized my weight (I was slowly gaining before, about 1 kilo per 2 months), then 10 days ago I started a strict keto (basically 1 bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers with oil and salt + 1 - 2 bananas per day) diet that ended yesterday.

Here's the problem. I've lost 3 kilos so far (great) but as the diet progressed I got more and more dizzy, to the point where I can't focus on anything, and I did a routine 15 minute (3 km) run yesterday after which I had to lay down as I was on the verge of passing out and it took an hour for that feeling to go away. I'm also getting mild chest pains during the dizziness episodes. I know many people have done strict diets and been fine, so there must be something I'm missing. The only supplement I'm taking is multivitamins. I regulate my water to make sure I am always hydrated.

Today the diet ended, and I ate a normal amount of calories with a diverse selection of things, but still strictly keto. Within a few hours of going this, my dizziness mostly cleared up, so I'm pretty sure it's an unbalance in my strict diet of something. I've had my heart checked thoroughly recently and was told it was in A+ condition, and all my levels (cholesterol, etc) are within healthy levels. I'm 35 years old. I would like to do another 10 day round of the strict diet after about a week of the less restrictive diet, and keep this up until I hit my target weight. However, I'm concerned about the dizziness.

Also, on exercise, I'm only doing routine runs (3 km loop) and a small number of pull ups, both because I don't want to overexert during a strict diet and (sorry lifting bros) both me and my LTR like a light muscular but lean physique. My body responds extremely quickly to weight exercises and any serious lifting will make me look like some kind of wanna-be Arnold Schwarzenegger which is not the look I'm going for.

Anyways, anyone have experience with this kind of diet, and anyone have this kind of problem? What do you suggest / recommend in terms of nutrition? Anything that jumps out about how I'm dieting that's a health-problem red flag that I should change? Thanks!
