It's like hanging out with a new friend plus the added excitement of wanting to touch each other.

Dont get serious for the first year of going out. Try to make it about having fun and meeting as many girls possible. Really dont overthink it, just approach girls with no intentions beyond getting to know them and see.

Like I said don’t overthink. Just approach, could be about something random like what’s the time or hey where did you buy those shoes also can be situational like what book are you reading. The goal is to get used to approaching, used to talking and getting a reaction whether positive or negative doesn’t matter its about getting used to it that’s important. Say some dumb joke to the cute girl working at the cash register of your local supermarket. Say hi to your neighbor.
Really it’s about experience, you need tons of it and I suggest starting simple no need to ask for numbers in the beginning just try getting used to small talk with random girls. People always say to try and get numbers however even if you get a girl’s number what are u gonna do then how are u going to be comfortable going on a date etc…

Haha that’s even better. Enjoy it, crave it. Let it simmer and keep going until it stops bothering you completely. Never forget yourself and that you’re numero uno.
See it as training or exercise. Girls are also never going to enjoy talking to you if you don’t enjoy it first.

You’re missing the whole point. You’re making them about them and not you. You’re going to fail miserably that way.
Start small. Start talking to them. Get some experience then come back here for more advice

Remember your starting from the beginning so just remind yourself that you eventually will get better if put in the practice. Do t makes excuses for yourself, of cour you won’t be successful the first time but trust in your own ability and 5 years from now you will be shocked at how much you can improve. Changed my life at 24 was friendless, jobless and a virgin who weighed 300 pounds. 4 years later an I was a completely different person because I put in the work.

Try talking to random dudes first

Okay, not sure I’ll write this well. But let’s take what you just said “it also feels like or you can tell no girl ever wants to talk to me. YOU, in your mind think that. Those thoughts are you, and your creativity creating false ideas in your mind.
Join a meet up group on a topic or just to socialize. Get into a social settings where there is women but it isn’t a dating environment. Get used to regular old conversation talking about hobbies, whatever TV shows out or so on. Eventually you’ll make a female friend or acquaintances who can give you actually feedback.
Some of the most helpful feedback is two way communication. And it’s way more reliable then these narratives you are creating for yourself in your own mind.
100% of the time you don’t know what’s going on in someone else’s mind.
[–]Maddzilla2793 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Again don’t take it personal. Sometimes I just don’t want to talk to you. That’s why you should try and social group first and work on small talk and causal conversation.

You want to meet women?. Good!, but don't expect them to come to you, it does happen but not often. So just assume that thwy never will otherwise you will just keep on waiting around. You gotta grow your confidence and throw yourself in the deep end.
This is what I done to get my confidence up to approach and might help you too.
reassesed my style and got new clothes/jewellery that make me feel good and look good. Make sure you get a bunch of clothes you wear specifically for approaching girls. This will put you in the right mind set when your wearing them as you feel your best!.
get some quality cologne. It's amazing what cologne can do for your confidence. I've had girls approach me asking what I'm wearing. So that in itself makes gives you that little boost during the night.
keep up with fresh haircuts. Once a month or less tbh.
go to the gym and start working out. You don't need to go to get shredded or anything. But with going to the gym you will feel better about yourself and again, boost that confidence. This also puts you in social areas and puts you around other women. Not saying to that you need to hit on them, but more that your surrounded by women, you subconsciously get more comfortable around them.
The main take points are, to Max out everything you can. You can't control your face or things like that. But you can control the way you dress, your posture, how you smell, etc. And then the only thing left to do my man is approach. Don't be scared. It's only scary to start with. They are just people too remember that.

Use people around you as inspiration. If you see a dude walking along and think hes dressed well, take some mental notes. After a bit you will start to see a trend of what style you think looks good on other people and that's what you should go for yourself. Obviously you will mould your own style from this. But it gives you a starting point.

It's like not having a girlfriend but the opposite.
If you like that feminine energy and are at peace with your own masculine energy then you will like it. The fact you never had a girlfriend is not a turn off unless you make it so. But deffinitely it will help if you just hang out with girls as friends having fun together first. Otherwise you run into a risk of having a oneitis.

As a quote says
Bravery is not the absence of fear. It is doing what must be done (and or the right thing) inspite of the fear.
The scarier the thing and the more a person prevails makes them brave.
Being a man isn't about being fearless. All humans get scared. It's about realizing you are scared. Being ok with it and doing what needs to be done in the face of that fear

Don't date or get a gf only for sex, just build connections with girls and then start looking for something and get serious
[–]TheFreeloader 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Find situations where you can make friends with girls. I started by teaching English online and helping girls at my university with schoolwork.

It’s just like making a friend but that friend is attractive and they think you are attractive. You can call this friend up to hang out or play video games or whatever you’re into. You meet up to hang out and then you’re like, “hey, you want to go watch a movie, go somewhere with people and music, or maybe stay home and play video games?” Then they’re like, “sure, but I’m hungry. You wanna go eat something first?” Then you’re like, “for sure, I’m down to try that new place I heard about at work and/or on social media.” Then they’re like, “yeah, let’s do it.” At the end of the night, instead of fist bumping and going home to jerk off alone, you hug/kiss and ask them if they want to come to your place or theirs and have sex. Pretty simple if you don’t make a big deal out of it or make the other person think that after that day you are going to annoy them non stop to hang out again. They don’t want to feel like they are your only source of entertainment. That’s too much responsibility. Instead, do other things and occasionally invite them. Try to also have a few other friends. Eventually one of them will like to hang out with you every week and you probably will too if they are cool.

I mean, Im sure you are going to think its the greatest thing since sliced bread and all but women can be moody, needy, undependable, demanding and expensive. If you dont have one you feel like you need one, if you have one you wonder why you do.

First, it's not a red flag to not have had a girlfriend or other sexual partners. Anyone who says it's a red flag is a person to be avoided.
That being said, try to find a group of friends you can vibe with, go out with them, and work on meeting new poeple while you're out. If your friends are good, they'll encourage you.
[–]rusty344 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Honestly it’s probably not ideal but do you regularly talk to women at least?
[–]MayhemReignsTV 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
See that’s your problem. Not the fact that you are skinny. The bad news is you are going to have to take ownership of this problem. But that’s the great thing about this as well. You don’t need to do anything drastic although I would definitely encourage continuing to hit the gym. The things it does for you are amazing. but all you have to do is get yourself 30 seconds of courage from time to time. And remember, they are people just like you. Do you remember the last time one of the bros chatted you up? I know this is a little bit different but think about the aspects of a conversation that hold your interest. And again, remember that they are people too. Don’t put her on any kind of pedestal. I remember needing to start with something relatively low stakes(yes, I used to have huge confidence issues and it robbed me of so much), so I started chatting up unattractive women that had good personalities. The kind that I honestly wouldn’t mind having as a friend but I don’t have any physical attraction towards. I mean as long as you don’t lead her on, you might end up with a good friend who might know somebody who is good for you. You never know.

Work on the skills if you don't feel comfortable. Become comfortable talking to more women and people around you. Keep focusing on your self and get some experience. Practice conversations, travel, learn about yourself.
You can feel alone at any age and even when you're actually dating someone.

The main thing is to not treat them any different. Most guys get nervous or try to impress them, but in reality a casual date should be just that. If you're not comfortable then that's OK, just keep trying it and you'll gain confidence. Women like confidence, and if you treat them like one of the guys then it helps.
[–]MetaphysicPhilosophy 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
In official terms, yes it is a red flag, but if you gain some experience with women then it won’t even matter. Women don’t care about how many women you been with as long as you act like you’ve been with a lot. In other words, you need the confidence and charisma of a man who has. A confident and charismatic man who isn’t just a fuck boy is probably even more attractive to most older women cause they care more about security.

At your age, if you have some savings, you could invest it in (well-vetted) companies that can help you grow in this aspect. You'll likely learn and improve more in 1 weekend than you would in 1 year trying to do it alone

Like everything else it depends on who you are with.
The feeling of new love goes away after a few months, so if you've found someone to be friends with, then you can enjoy the longer time with them.
After a few years love changes from lustful desiring love to more of a familial love. The longer you've been with a person, the less of a 'lover" they are and the more "family" they are.
Started dating my wife at 15.
I'm 34 now. So I've now reached the point where even counting a 6 month period when we separated, we have been together longer than we haven't been, if that makes sense.
I know her better than my family simply due to proximity and the fact that I openly talk to her. She's a family I got to choose and I am happy with my decision.
My wife is pretty much responsible for all the good that happens in my life. Unfortunately because she is pretty much the highest on the list of people, then she can be directly responsible for the bad stuff that happens too.
That's a whole lot of trust to give to someone, and I've been through good times and bad times and really good times and fucking shitty times with her.
You also have to learn to change your relationship as you age and mature. From one year to another with just some changes to brain chemistry, you can be a completely different person, so you need to check in with one another and learn what your growing needs are.
It isn't easy. People thinkna relationship is 50/50, but it's not. A relationship has to be 100/100 as much as possible to get you through the good parts, so that you can save up for the bad times when it's 100/30 or even 25/50. No one taught me to communicate with her, it's something I had to learn how to do an embarrassingly short time ago when compared to how long we've been together.
So far we've had a long and fruitful relationship and hope to keep it alive as long as we are. Further, if it's possible, but I don't want to be greedy.
