Matching their energy is a skill. Develop it. They dont chase because they dont have to and some are more concerned with avoiding danger/threats/creeps than getting to know a guy. Just the way it is. Its absolute bullshit but the only way to change that is if more guys match their energy and leave some of the work to women.

Let's reframe this. You don't have to chase women. You have to attract women. Yes, men often have to initiate, but if she's not attracted to you there is no amount of "chasing" that will succeed.

Be the things that women are attracted to. Fit, style, successful, confident, fun, interesting, intelligent.

Here's why...

A woman can only produce a limited number of offspring in her lifetime. Once pregnant, she's out of commission for nine months. And she's only reasonably fertile until her mid 30s.

On the other hand, men can theoretically produce an unlimited number of offspring.

As such, through evolutionary programming, women have greater need to be very picky since she can only produce a few offspring. She needs a guy who's truly into her and pick one who's a social leader who can provide and help rise her children.

Men on the other hand, can afford to play around so pickiness is less important. This is why guys can get horny for many girls and get horny very easily.

I wouldn't dwell on this unfairness. I'm in my 40s. Looking back, trust me, you'd rather pick than be picked. The girls you pick will be of way higher quality than the ones who pick you.

-We HAVE TO be pretty. Which means we have to invest time on beauty products, make up, clothes and time to appear decent outside. -On top of that we have to study, have hobbies and being interesting. -if we are straight, we have to deal with men, who are pretty gross and rude towards women.

And on top of that, to be updated we have to take initiative AND chase.

Depends on the woman. The way you asked your question, why is it most of the time etc, is based on just your personal experience. More than ever before, women pursue men, ask men out, look for sexual encounters, talk about their desires & needs.

If its not happening for YOU, I'd work on you instead of wondering why women aren't responding to you. It should probably also be pointed out just how many men struggle to get any interaction with women & it sounds like you get plenty you just don't know how to retain interest, so you're one step ahead of many others.

The last thing is, are you not getting effort & you quit, or do they feel like they tried & you're not giving back, so you think they did it when really you created that?

In all seriousness they have so many options why would they chase. You need to obtain emotional connection make them invest in you primarily. If she’s into you and you’re her number 1 option you’ll know. she won’t make it difficult for you.

Let them chase you, but women are naturally more socially skilled than men, women have the nesting nature where as men hunt. Women have to be more selective of partners because of their child bearing nature, they need male support to help take care of children, and theoretically a man could get her pregnant and leave. Playing hard to get will get her hamster wheel turning, wait until she gets jealous then she will start acting strange, it might make her chase you, or she may end up ignoring you, thats why you should keep your hookups secret. Jealousy can make women difficult, they may mention other guys, monitor your activities, ask you questions about female friends, trust me I know the dangers of a jealous woman, sometimes they may even harm you physically

Maybe cause we have dealt with creeps and don't want to be creepy 0.o . Why is it men that, most of the time, have to chase and make effort towards girls ?

Men do end up chasing women, but it doesn't need to be that way.

We should also make a distinction here between men initiating and making moves, versus men unintentionally approaching women in desperation. There's nothing wrong with the former. It's the latter that gets men in trouble.

Men often end up unintentionally approaching women from a mindset of desperation or scarcity. This can easily happen if guys don't know how to create a social life for themselves which exposes them to a lot of women and helps them realize that they have options.

Having options helps people approach these kinds of social interactions from a more confident standpoint without unintentionally turning people off by trying too hard/chasing.
