Matching their energy is a skill. Develop it. They dont chase because they dont have to and some are more concerned with avoiding danger/threats/creeps than getting to know a guy. Just the way it is. Its absolute bullshit but the only way to change that is if more guys match their energy and leave some of the work to women.

Let's reframe this. You don't have to chase women. You have to attract women. Yes, men often have to initiate, but if she's not attracted to you there is no amount of "chasing" that will succeed.
Be the things that women are attracted to. Fit, style, successful, confident, fun, interesting, intelligent.
[–][deleted] 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Above all, be mindful of your audience. Fit men attract a lot of girls, but confident men attract girls worth the while.
[–]Narcan9 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Take being mindful plus the guys joking about being intelligent: I met a Russian girl in Denver so I took her to a hole in the wall called Sputnik. Then she's impressed when I named the first cosmonaut (and person) to fly to space. Little things that I'm sure set me apart from other guys who chased her. She was a hot little size 4 with perky B cups.
[–]Importantmessage2000 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
It doesn’t take much to be intelligent
Just say things that are true

Maybe it’s a question of value…
I’m 17 and haven’t done much in my life, I work out but still don’t have that good looking body, I’m growing a youtube channel but still at the beginning.

[–]Cyberspace667 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude, relax, its literally just a matter of practice. Initiating is part of the fun of engaging with women.
[–]kbecel 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Women will chase you if you're worth chasing
Women who chased after me was always me approaching and not the other way around
When I was 17 (I'm 36) I was a sexy son of a bitch skateboarder and I got hit on and approached a few times, and I didn't like it very much.
Even though I had trouble closing at that age, it felt right me approaching and not the other way around.
So change your mindset OP. Are you a man who takes what he wants?
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Yeah I see, but the problem is not really about the approach, I did it several times, but it always end by her not being interested after all
[–]kbecel 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Make your life interesting to yourself, other people will want to enter your life too. Stop being boring a d get some hobbies and only spend some time applying game.

Those are still external value. I honestly think instead of value the more helpful thing to focus on is determination and outcome independence. If you can focus outwards and accept all outcomes calmly and happily you will very quickly learn exactly what does and doesn’t work. Also, doing so makes you innately and reliably valuable to women in ways that social proof, wealth, or any other type of perceived value cannot.
[–]Importantmessage2000 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

No point in dwelling on it.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
I see your point, but chasing a girl makes me feel like I don’t even respect myself.
[–]TheSunshineMan 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Not sure why you feel that way, that's just the male/female dynamic.
You can either chose to accept this and do what it takes to have an abundance of girls in your life..
OR
Do what most guys do, don't pursue girls, and hopefully get lucky with one or two girls at some point in their life.
[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
But it’s a bit confusing, most of the time I see people saying that I do not have to chase, and that they’ll come by themselves (which is in my experience not true, so far at least)
But you’re telling me that it’s "normal" to chase a bit, to make a bigger effort than her, did I understood it well ?
[–]TheSunshineMan 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
But it’s a bit confusing, most of the time I see people saying that I do not have to chase, and that they’ll come by themselves (which is in my experience not true, so far at least) This is why (when you take away the top 10% of guys) the average guy has sex with 1.5 women in his life.
This is why (when you take away the top 10% of guys) the average guy has sex with 1.5 women in his life.
Because they think they can "just be themselves" and get girls.
Sorry.. it doesn't work that way.
Yes.. you need to make the first move.
Otherwise, you're average. (1.5 sexual partners in his life).

It’s easy to see why young men feel this way now. If you look at social media and the news, there’s a lot of propaganda fed to us about gender roles being obsolete, but who do you call to fix a leak? Men. Who is usually tending to sick patients in a hospital setting? Women. Yes I’m rambling but have a look at modern countries in Scandinavia and even Japan. Gender roles are fine as long as they’re not coercive, but very few modern feminists will admit this.
I totally respect men and women’s agency in the workplace, but you gotta admit there’s a lot of people who somehow believe we have circumvented 10,000+ years of civilization and suddenly male/female relations are no longer valid.
Imagine your grandpa refusing to go up to your grandma back in the day, for fear of being anxious. He’d be like “stfu, son. I’m going there and getting some tail,” even if he struck out. We have effectively shamed men into not being men anymore and taking risks.
Some of us also had very poor relationships with our parents, whom teach us how to socialize the most with others.
[–]TheSunshineMan 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Agree with all of this.. and it's only going to get worse.
And why the few guys who figure all this game stuff out will get even more girls..
This is always why men are getting less sex than ever before, and why 5% of men are virgins at 35+, and this is also increasing.
The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.
I started doing daygame 13 years ago..
Girls would sometimes say they've been approached before (I always ask after we've banged)..
Nowadays, it's super rare that girls get approached during the day.
Yes, yes I know in certain cities, in certain areas, it happens more often, but a whole, it's definitely going down.
That's why I always say Daygame is like a cheat code to getting girls these days..
99% of guys only use dating apps..
But if you look at statistics, they say that only 10-20% of all single women are on dating apps..
That means 99% of the guys are fishing for 10-20% of the women.
This is why Daygame is so gawd dam effective.
[–]hi-its-nico 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
could you elaborate on daygame philosophy? or some read on the subject, seems interesting that few men do it allegedly
[–]PuzzledBuddy6771 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You have a lot of work to do. Women don't like whiney incels who think they deserve king treatment, especially when they have very few redeeming qualities. Work on yourself then worry about women.
[–]Schnisi 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I'm struggling to understand why I should le chasing women at all. I mean, what is worth the struggle if statistically your relationship is almost guaranteed to break and will either leave you or your significant other back with a broken heart? Not to forget all the emotional and financial investment you need to put into it. Yes, you can have amazing memories as well but I've been there and once the relationship closes in towards its end, chances are high it will become really devastating if you're the one that is still madly in love. Edit: Some more rants
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Statistically most people get married and most people in all cultures report being happier if they are married so if you believe in the wisdom of people almost everyone sees a very high value in it. You can opt out if you want.
[–]MuMuGorgeus 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I feel like that too. I see insisting as humiliation. I used to believe that only glancing at a girl should be enough for her to come talk to me. That changed, but I usually don't last long when talking to a girl, the first sign she isn't interested I'm out of there, because I lose my interest in her in return.
[–]PenissButtt 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]TheSunshineMan 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]SexualGoodGirl 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True:)
[–]jsbach123 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Here's why...
A woman can only produce a limited number of offspring in her lifetime. Once pregnant, she's out of commission for nine months. And she's only reasonably fertile until her mid 30s.
On the other hand, men can theoretically produce an unlimited number of offspring.
As such, through evolutionary programming, women have greater need to be very picky since she can only produce a few offspring. She needs a guy who's truly into her and pick one who's a social leader who can provide and help rise her children.
Men on the other hand, can afford to play around so pickiness is less important. This is why guys can get horny for many girls and get horny very easily.
I wouldn't dwell on this unfairness. I'm in my 40s. Looking back, trust me, you'd rather pick than be picked. The girls you pick will be of way higher quality than the ones who pick you.
[–]DecodingtheWest 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

But the question is why ? Why do they have this low interest ? I’m not showing any needy behaviour or anything like that…
Maybe I’m just not enough and I don’t "deserve" to get a woman right now because of that low value.
I'll admit I might be pessimistic at the moment, but that logic doesn't work unless your a model they have low interest
[–]LeavingituptoBeaver 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True! Anyone interested in you, will chase you. Watch! I have chased. For women it’s a bit different as we are used to being chased. It’s primal and very much seductive. If interested we will allow ourselves to be caught and if not interested well you will know. It does feel a bit unnatural for me as a female to chase but when interested, I’am going for my objective.
[–]PenissButtt 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]icanchi 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
-We HAVE TO be pretty. Which means we have to invest time on beauty products, make up, clothes and time to appear decent outside. -On top of that we have to study, have hobbies and being interesting. -if we are straight, we have to deal with men, who are pretty gross and rude towards women.
And on top of that, to be updated we have to take initiative AND chase.
Hell no, I'm out.

Because your ass isn’t interesting to them. Women chase HARD. In fishing it’s about setting the hook. If you don’t set the hook you don’t catch a fish. If you are aloof for no apparent reason she thinks you are a douchebag or aren’t interested. Set the MF hook.

[–]GordonGecko69 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It’s case by case. Are you an in person gamer or one of these tinder dinks? How did you meet? How did you open? Did you get an IOI’s? How did you escalate? There isn’t a one size fits all answer. But there are a handful that you can keep in your holster.

Because dudes are horrible at creating sexual tension and getting women to chase them! Once a dude figures this out he has essentially mastered the game.
I think dating, seduction and courting has become so terribly unclear "girls" won't engage and men have issues landing.
[–]cormacru999 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Depends on the woman. The way you asked your question, why is it most of the time etc, is based on just your personal experience. More than ever before, women pursue men, ask men out, look for sexual encounters, talk about their desires & needs.
If its not happening for YOU, I'd work on you instead of wondering why women aren't responding to you. It should probably also be pointed out just how many men struggle to get any interaction with women & it sounds like you get plenty you just don't know how to retain interest, so you're one step ahead of many others.
The last thing is, are you not getting effort & you quit, or do they feel like they tried & you're not giving back, so you think they did it when really you created that?
[+]External_Lifeguard49 -7 points-6 points-5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In all seriousness they have so many options why would they chase. You need to obtain emotional connection make them invest in you primarily. If she’s into you and you’re her number 1 option you’ll know. she won’t make it difficult for you.

[–]burncushlikewood 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Let them chase you, but women are naturally more socially skilled than men, women have the nesting nature where as men hunt. Women have to be more selective of partners because of their child bearing nature, they need male support to help take care of children, and theoretically a man could get her pregnant and leave. Playing hard to get will get her hamster wheel turning, wait until she gets jealous then she will start acting strange, it might make her chase you, or she may end up ignoring you, thats why you should keep your hookups secret. Jealousy can make women difficult, they may mention other guys, monitor your activities, ask you questions about female friends, trust me I know the dangers of a jealous woman, sometimes they may even harm you physically

Woman don’t really have to chase sense men are more desperate now this is mainly only in the west(USA basically),why do something if it’s already happening for you right? Also woman have options,if you want to have options as a man then you gotta be fit,mid looking or good looking, tall or atleast taller than most woman, confident, masculine, non ignorant and being rich is just a added bonus, but being the best you will draw the most options.

1
Why is it men that, most of the time, have to chase and make effort towards girls ?
Men do end up chasing women, but it doesn't need to be that way.
We should also make a distinction here between men initiating and making moves, versus men unintentionally approaching women in desperation. There's nothing wrong with the former. It's the latter that gets men in trouble.
Men often end up unintentionally approaching women from a mindset of desperation or scarcity. This can easily happen if guys don't know how to create a social life for themselves which exposes them to a lot of women and helps them realize that they have options.
Having options helps people approach these kinds of social interactions from a more confident standpoint without unintentionally turning people off by trying too hard/chasing.
2
There's no way to really offer advice here unless we know what you're doing.
What does your social life look like?
How are you meeting women currently?

Dogs chase the cats, and the cats chase the rats.
So you can either be a dog begging to hump her leg, or a rat who enjoys making kitty purr.
