My favorite thing you said was that he was alpha but without knowing it. People get the wrong idea about the word alpha. Alpha doesn’t mean you’re the toughest guy who can yell the loudest. Usually people who are truly alpha are not trying to be.
Being alpha doesn’t even matter. Every man should take a hard look at themselves. I like to say “Confront the Gap”. Really wrestle with what is keeping you from being confident. And eliminate those things or learn to not be bothered by them. Decide what type of man you want to be and actively work towards becoming that man. Doing this sounds intense and it is. But once you do it you will build confidence and be more sure of yourself — this will make you more laid back and easier to approach.

Non-needy is the word I like to use instead of alpha or confident. It gets to the point more clearly.

Non-needy is more something you do and alpha or confident is something you are. On the Venn diagram they have areas of intersection but there is no direct comparison between the 3 things. I think the big problem is the world alpha constantly gets a bad wrap usually because there are 2 types of alphas the charismatic kind and the physical kind. The physical kind is the one people try to avoid because they bully everyone around them to keep their control and are often incredibly needy but this is mostly to try(and fail) to mask some insecurity about themselves. The charismatic alpha is the person everyone wants to talk to at parties. They are often just as needy but the difference is people want to give these people things so those around them think they are confident and charming instead, it’s all about prospective.
Look at Trump supporters while the rest of the world think he is a lunatic and a bully they put this guy on a pedestal and treat him like some new age messiah.

That title man. Shit like that fucked me up when I was growing up because I thought that a real man should be able to get any woman he wants (due to music, tv, and pretty much every form of media pushing that ish), so you can imagine my surprise when I found out that the two most successful guys I know with women have like a 40% success rate (from their own mouths). It's misleading, is what this ramble is saying, especially for new guys that don't know shit about getting women.
Edit: Apart from that, I agree with the message. Just being my friendly, laid back, goofball self has given me more success than any attempts at style, flexing, or being sexy has. Women love a confident guy who's also a good person.
[–]Wisdomtree33 35 points36 points37 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
My bad man. The whole thing was written honestly and from the heart. The title indeed should be slightly different, at the time it was the first thing I could think of
[–]Kaizen290619 29 points30 points31 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I'm a woman and I confirm it. The first guy I ever liked was more than a good feet shorter than me and the second was practically a midget but they both were super confident and content with themselves, always laughing and this very very attractive to me. Of all the guys I've liked only one was taller than me and I'm not unusually tall.
[–]next_deen 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Actually height is a factor of self consciousness for me. I m 5ft7 and when I hear babes or hotties saying the ideal height for them to date men is >5ft11 I just express some internal sadness

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I live in the Caribbean. Every fucking music artist in this region insists on acting like they sleep with every woman they step to. In movies and tv and shit, any character that's a "player" has nothing but success with women. The only guys who get rejected are the bad guys or the nice guys. It's even worse if it's a black man in the show because apparently all of us can get women wet just by looking at them.

>One lesson I’ve learned from him, always go up to people and introduce yourself with a smile
This lesson goes to anything, even work. I learned this in college too from a guy who was a twin brother of Urkel. But he was always laughing, for no reason.
He was not out getting women, but as geeky as he was, people found him hilarious and he didn't say much, he just laughed. He never met you, he would come, smile, and say, what's up, whatever always smiling. That stuck with me because I realized, people loved this guy and he didn't even say much...
Fast forward so many years later, was working in a corporate place that i was slacking just for being a dummy, so my boss called me for a meeting, and i just came in smiling, hey, Lucy, and how are you today...big smile on my face.
We did some small talk, and i just kept on smiling, out of nervousness most likely that i was going to get fired; boss lady says, you know what, this meeting was to go over your bad performance, but i can't stay serious with you, so just do this and that, i'll check in two weeks and if you're improving, this never happened. Done.
Smiles not only gets you women apparently, but saves your fucking job too!

Disclaimer: Only do this, if you really want to be this.
When I started college I did the same. Outgoing, Fun. Introducing myself to everyone up to the point that I walked down the street and half the people knew me. But with all that partying my grades suffered.
One time I went home from a class in which I didn't do well for a couple of weeks and I only wanted to get home as quickly as possible. It was a 5-minute walk. I literally walked 100 meters and about 4 or 5 times I had to talk to different people who I knew from campus and partying and wanted to talk to me to "catch up".
At that point, I realized that I don't want to be this person. I "knew" them all, but in reality, I knew none of them. Everyone only superficial and the conversations ended after a quick Smalltalk. And that's when I realized, I really don't care about any one of them, and I just wanted them to shut up and let me go home so I can focus on my studies. Most people only want the "fun" guy for "fun" times. When you need them in your struggles, they all vanish very fast.

Thanks for sharing. This is the type of information that can save someone from spending a lot of time and effort on it just to hit a dead end. One meaningful relationship is so much better than 10 superficial. Hope you managed to find some valuable friends!

I totally agree. I never wanted to be that fun guy. I wanted to be who I was going to be, which included a fair amount of self-doubt, introspection, and unwillingness to dishonestly portray myself as confident just so I could advance socially. But, when I really did meet the one person I wanted to be with, it clicked from the very start 30 years ago. We both felt it. She's brilliant, created her own career as one of the very first artist niche perfumers and is now known around the world, and is lovely. When I met her, she was a 19 year old art student. At that time I was a touring musician, with all of the temptation that lifestyle offers, but I never went for it because just sleeping with someone without that connection feels really empty. And then after I met my future wife, all my conversations with women ended up including her, because 1) she's just awesome and 2) she is a major part of my life. Interestingly, some of the women I met on the road who came up to me with some kind of intent are now closer friends with her than with me. Sure, it can be fun in your 20s and 30s, but most of the people I know that were really into back then are now pretty lonely in their 50s and 60s. Are there any "what if I had hooked up with...." thoughts? Sure, but no regrets. When it came down to it, being with the person I really wanted to be with was no effort at all.

The Gary i know is one of my best friends, he is 5'6 on a good day, big headed, ginger pubed, freckled like a diarrea bowl, doey fuck of a person. Not a Looker, really not a Looker, no money, pretty heavy social drinker.
He fucked a girl that ended up doing the weather on TV (we are not in mexico, but close enough) as a SIDE CHICK for the complete run of the UNI... at the same time, same Uni, only different careers... Both smoke shows. Unbelievable to everyone, A shit bag with the girls trough and trough. i Have yet to see him respect a relationship with a women.
The thing he has is a relentless believe in himself and confidence, a funny fucker and a caring fuck, but that's it. The rest is positive attitude, funny remarks and enjoyable to be around, unattached to anything and sex driven like a motherfucker. Unapologetic and frontal about what he wants.
But still in many ways a mystery to everyman around him.

Honestly this is the best advice. Even men who I might not be physically attracted to at first become 10x more attractive when they seem genuinely happy/content with their lives. They don’t act like getting a particular person’s attention is their priority, but they make everyone feel amazing when they do give them their attention. Treat everyone like they’re someone you want and more often than not you’ll get this mob mentality of being someone that everyone wants to know. The golden rule stands true 👌🏻

LEARNING TO TAKE SHOTS... YES
Earlier in my life I've had a tough time taking jokes. I have no retorts; I'm an easy target for verbal jabs. It's an inability to play, flirt and make 'small' talk. I do fine with 'big' talk though.
The same lowly energy can render in these ways too:
-Looking away/making no eye contact -Not greeting people or saying their name -Deflecting and passing blame -Not taking ownership -Doing things sloppy (work and life)
[–]cjl99 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Definitely relate to the play/flirt/small talk, vs 'big' talk. Trying to think about this more and being more in the mindset of play. I have to imagine though some of it is confronting long standing habits that I fall into, out of comfort/convenience.

My only question about all this is:
How does this stop you from being the “nice guy” (I hate using that term) that all the girls really adore and love - as a friend?
I feel like all I read was that this dude Gary was a really popular nice person at Uni that everyone liked.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You have to let women know you're into them asap. Doesn't have to be the first time you hang, but you can't let it get to the point that you text regularly without letting her know that you're interested.
[–]ThenIJizzedInMyPants 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Nothing revolutionary here - just back to basics. The two things that stood out:
1) High social intelligence - simply introducing yourself to women regularly with no agenda, and having a good circle of friends is enough to get laid. Seriously. I mean I love cold approach and all, but you don't have to do anything complicated.
2) Lift/workout - getting in good shape will improve everything else. Do it.
[–]classglass 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I've got a friend who sounds pretty similar to Gary. Very laid back, always has a great time and is overall content with life! He gets more women than anyone I know personally. Also he is very good at manifesting things in his life. It's all about that great attitude! He has inspired me for sure. Great post, brother!
[–]Frdoco11 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What kind of things did he manifest?
[–]classglass 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He was able to land a good job in HVAC with no prior experience and got an apartment and a nice new truck within a few months of being kicked out of his mom's house. A few months after that he started an HVAC company with his dad. Even when he was broke tho and pretty much homeless he could always find a place to stay and he always had some money for gas and food and weed to smoke. (big stoner) This dude had a hard life with lots of chaos but he always kept his head up and always had jokes and women to call up. Still my homie to this day!
[–]SigmundFreud 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Let's be honest here. You can get a great girl any day of the week with a little bit of persistence, a nice smile, a decent body, your own flat, and $80. It's just a numbers game.
[–]phrunk87 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is great advice in general for life.
Although I have to be the one who will point at that simply being well-known and generally liked isn't really the same thing as being desirable to women, if that was the point of the post (which it seems it is).
Gary may have lots of girls who know him and think he's funny and fun, but nothing about your post suggests he is otherwise good with women.
I knew a lot of "Garys" in college. I liked them, women liked them, but they didn't get a lot of romantic attention.
[–]InnocentPerv93 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is a nice story and all, but it kinda comes at a time when a lot of this is unfortunately unusable. Due to the pandemic I mean, smiling at others in public is basically gone due to masks, as well as getting close to them.
As for the group of friends, that incredibly rare due to how much people drop each other and backstab each other.
Tbh all this came to in my opinion is that he got into shape and that’s how he got women. You should take life seriously because it is serious, especially now.
But I’m glad you knew him, he seems to have been a good influence on you.

So in way more basic and short terms the key seems to be to put yourself out there, get out of the comfort zone and be enthusiastically social. People are not going to fall into your lap, after all. This is where I went wrong all my years. Introversion is fine, but if you don’t make the effort to let people know that you actually EXIST well it’s no wonder I’m single, lonely and borderline friendless. Thanks for the post

The Internet sure does love the word "alpha"
People need to get real, real alpha males probably don't know what the word alpha is, I've met plenty of guys like this. The last thing on their minds was women, they focused on the job at hand.
If you have to call yourself alpha then your not, it's a natural trait that comes. You should be a leader to bring on your team, not to get ladies

This was a great read. Sounds like this is a guy who didn't worry about meeting or attracting women. He just let it happen and if it didn't happen, so what, he was still having a great time. The process of letting go and not forming a detachment to the outcome created the outcome in his favor.
[–]soliz_love 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
He was kind. Literally just a nice, fun dude who would go out of his way to ask about your life and help you out if you needed it. Without him realizing it, he was “alpha”. How, might you ask? Because guys would surround him and tell him things and respect him.
This paragraph is gold, because really being Alpha isn't about being the strongest or toughest in the room,It is about having the best character in the room as in being the most fun,the most respectful, the least cringe, the most helpful, this is how you become an alpha

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If you’re a girl, and you’re talking about “day game” or whatever, it’s much simpler. Go up to them and ask their name. Be open, be flirty, touch their arm a few times. If the conversation goes well, ask if they want to get a drink or coffee this weekend. Guys are much less likely to get asked out, so you will shoot to the top of their list of women to date by being bold like that. I promise, if you do this with 10 guys you find attractive, you will get 8 dates. 2 guys may be intimidated, may not find you attractive, may be gay, or dating another woman so don’t expect it to go 100% perfectly.
[–]craz4jaymz 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
8 is too high. 6 or 7 would be more realistic.
[–]craz4jaymz 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Being happy and secure in yourself does help. But also be empathatic, really understand the guy's emotions, what he is lacking and is looking for, be a good listener and be an observer, pick up on his body language. See men as actual human beings with feelings, not mindless sex deviants, that respond only to sexual advances. Be respectful to him as a person with unconscious wants and needs. I do this and one guy called me "magnetic".

Oh wow.. thanku for this realllyyy <3 would h please tell me more about it :)
[–]craz4jaymz 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Sure but it takes time to develop it. First, you need to start with yourself. You need to get to know yourself, understand yourself and have empathy for yourself. This is vital because you can't fully connect with someone else if you are disconnected from yourself. You can't give someone something that you don't have. This can be accomplished through meditation, self reflection, forgiveness and shadow work. This takes time and you have to be ready to face your darkness head on. You can also start developing empathy for men by mentally sending blessings to every man you see. We women like to put men into two categories, those who deserve our attention and love and those who don't. By doing that, you can't fully appreciate men in general as human beings, they are actually being objectified by us. So you won't fully have a lot of empathy for them. You can do that by seeing every man you see and say, "I wish you all the love and happiness you are wanting for yourself". That's it, you don't have to be too nice or entertain them. But say it with a lot of sincerity. This method worked for me. After a month, guys around me were so nice to me. I'm talking about complete strangers and I'm not beautiful. I'm a dark skinned, flat chested, glass wearing woman living in an Asian country that thinks dark skinned people are ugly and undesirable. Because I had energetically put out that intention. I was sincere in wishing them well. Guys would feel very comfortable around me, tell me about their vulnerabilities very quickly because they said they feel safe and comfortable to show their true self to me. A guy said me last week, "Where have you been all my life?" On top of this, yes, learn how to be flirtatious but you don't need to try so hard. When you are comfortable and confident in yourself, you'll know how to engage with people without trying too hard.

Your headline lost me. You cannot get any girl you want, and to think you can means your ego is out of control. You can have success with women, but you cannot have any girl you want - period. Fuck me. This kind of drivel isn't helpful.

Simple Gary was a good looking chad. There you go. Be good looking. I was like Gary before I had the same goofy personality, I liked who I was and where I was in life, I introduced myself the same way Gary did. I’m still a virgin. Most people here are banging ugly girls and they’re copying by saying that looks don’t matter.
[–]picklerrickler 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
As a female, you’re the exact guy I would not put myself around. All I read was “poor me I’m ugly” and “all I care about are girls looks.” I avoid superficial men like you
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I mean I have a friend that thinks that women should stay in the kitchen and that women only should be used for sex, making babies and being a housewife. He has mommy issues and sort of hates women. But his getting laid a lot. Why because his good looking. But anyway people will dislike my comments because they like to live in a fantasy world and most of them are dealing with ugly/average women. You’re probably ugly too I mean at least when I pay for hookers I’ll have 9s and 10s. While guys here that use “game” only deal with 5s and 6s.
The chicks he fucks with have baggage. Unhealthy guys almost never attract healthy women. Rather have a sane 6 than an insane 9.
Yeah whatever bro you’re acting like a nice guy. Basically most bad boy players are like that. They’re alcoholics, drug addicts or even addicted to sex. All the famous womanizers have issues. Marlon Brando was a narcissist, trump is a narcissist too, Russel Brand was addicted to drugs and so on. Just saying people in this sub want to be womanizers but they can’t understand that most womanizers aren’t healthy people or even good people on that matter.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
You're getting downvoted but you raise a point. Plenty of men who are basically misogynistic pull a lot of women, after a close, they always say something like "you should have seen this bitch, slut, etc I pulled last night." Why is this? Because since they see women as beneath them and thus they are way more confident, relaxed, and forward when it comes to them.
Nah bro it has nothing to do with confidence. It has to do with looks I experience it last night. Looks always matter I know guys that put women on a pedestal, they see women as goddesses, they act like the typical male feminists. It’s just the truth it’s all about looks.
[–]picklerrickler -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
If we’re only talking sex, then yeah, a lot of misogynistic dipshit men tend to get insecure girls because they’re standards are lowered. And because like you said those type of men tend to be less nervous around women because sexism. But the point is, (attractive) women with standards will 9x out of 10x see right through that and not mess with any man like that. But side note, not sure why you’re saying “you’re probably ugly too,”- I’m not sure why it matters here but I model and have been told im attractive. The whole “I’m a funny guy but girls don’t like me because I’m unattractive, woe is me” attitude that you’re carrying around isn’t going to get you far. And I’m not saying that trying to be rude, all I’m saying is I’ve dated some men waaaay out of my league simply because they can make me laugh. You’re creating your own double standard by expecting 10s to date you for your personality and then saying you wouldn’t want to date a 6 with a good personality. It just doesn’t add up
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I’m not angry at women for not dating me. I’m just saying looks matter. You literally said that I “am a double standard by complaining I don’t get 10s and saying I don’t date 6s with good personality” I don’t hate women nor am I angry at them. I’m just frustrated that lots of men don’t want to learn the truth.
Listen the entire reason I am black pill is simply because I used to NOT CARE AVOIT GETTING GIRLS. I didn’t care about being successful with girls in the past. I was just normal charismatic, and that’s it. Then I realized hat some of my fiends where losing their virginity and hooking up except me. It’s all about looks. YOU have dated guys above your league so what? What does that have to do with “game?” I am a 4.5 I have kissed girls that are 5 and 6s it means nothing.
[–]picklerrickler -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I’m saying that I’ve dated men way under my league just because they can make me laugh. That’s why I’m saying it’s not just about looks. Physical attraction is important but that doesn’t mean you need to be traditionally attractive for people to be attracted to you. I’d consider myself a 9 on a good day and I’ve dated men that were 5s and 4s because they can make me laugh and I liked their personalities. One of my best relationships was with a guy with a skullet (mullet but with the top shaved) and his front tooth half chipped off. But he had nice eyes and was the goofiest guy I’d ever met so it was easy to look past that. And before me he was dating 8s and 9s as well so I wasn’t the only one. Things that matter most to most girls- Confidence and the way you carry yourself Your style, haircut, general taking care of yourself Being kind and genuine Having interests and trying to do the best for yourself, not just letting your life fall into your lap
Also, watch the movie tucker and dale vs evil. Me and a lot of my friends love dale simply because he’s an actually genuinely good guy. And he pulled a 10. It’s a movie but the principle stands
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
If you’ve dated ugly guys you’re probably ugly too. Send me a picture of you. It’s simple. Or maybe you’re insecure that’s it.
[–]picklerrickler -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It’s silly I have to prove to you I’m attractive. And I prefer to stay somewhat anonymous on here but I’ll just tell you I’m signed with IMG models LA and I have blonde hair. Feel free to go to their website and try and narrow it down from there. I don’t know how you’re not hearing what I’m saying, but looks aren’t the only thing that matters.
Nah I don’t believe you people can be faking their personalities online. Unless you have visual proof of who you are I won’t believe you. Keep copying ogre. Only ugly girls date ugly guys.
[–]LiveAFTSOV 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lmao yeah bro this /r/picklerrickler if it is even a real girl, is definetely an ugly ogre. Lmao a "professional signed model." Yeah and I'm a certified trained killer on Call of Duty

How to get any girl you want? Be incredibly good looking.
To suggest that "personality" will help you get hookups like you talk about, is retarded. Getting into a relationship, sure, but hookups - no.

A lot of this seems fantastic...but it sucks that the only apparent reason men think it’s worth it to be a genuinely good person is to be able to “fuck 9s on repeat”.
And reinforces the idea that it’s okay to treat all the not 9s like shit because we aren’t worth being a genuinely good person for.
I know that isn’t true and there are genuinely good men who don’t reduce women to how fuckable you think we are.
But this isn’t charming, it’s gross, and something tells me Gary himself doesn’t treat women like only the ones who could be a conventional model deserve being seen as worthy of his time.
And...I’m a fucking sex goddess. I’m gorgeous and sexy and confident and humble and ask what feels good and to listen and let me learn his body as my own personal instrument. Also really fucking happy in life. This isn’t a pity thing and I spend more time trying to be respected by men who think it’s okay to just want me than I ever did trying to get them to want me when I thought not being a 9 meant no man would want me. And I am with someone amazing, so this isn’t me being angry at men.
It’s an honest critique of a shitty way to view manliness and masculinity and women and sex and relationships.

Excellent post, thank you! The big take-away is to have a great life, great friends, etc. that's deeply attractive to women and really helps with the whole "don't be needy" thing - because you're literally so satisfied in your life (and having an abundance of women helps anyways0.
My favorite thing I read today. Thank you!

I have never had luck introducing myself without having social proof. It’s instant bitch shields in America. If people already know that people know you, it’s all good, however you can’t just not have social proof and introduce yourself to people. Everyone already knew Greg, but what if you have zero social proof? It’s hard to smile and laugh when people are trying there best to be a dick to you because they are like “who the fuck is this guy”.

Gary fucks!
[–]DigbyBrouge 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you’re the commodity. I was, growing up, and my friends were my family. And women did love me then. But that all changed rather abruptly. Sure, there were things I’d go back and do differently, but mostly, I was given the shit end, and have more knives sticking out of my back than a hedgehog (ouch mouse). Over time it’s turned me bitter, resentful, and even tho I take the meds, hit the gym, read the books, attend all the therapy sessions.... am actively trying to be better and at least happy with myself again... I can’t seem to get there. Or at least, it’s taken the better part of a decade. You can be Gary all you want, but sometimes life just fucks you.
[–]Wisdomtree33 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I understand completely man. Curious - what if anything happened that you felt you we’re screwed over? Etc
Good advice! All those things would definitely land this girl.

Best post I’ve seen on this sub- be like Gary. It’ll make you happy and it’ll make others happy, too.
Is "being a kind and genuine person makes people, including perspective dates, like you" really that much of a revelation?
[–]Visualize_ 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Living like Larry Gary
Although I don't think your mindset should be you can obtain any women you want because that's not even true. Even for the hottest people in the world that just won't be true because people have preferences. But that aside, there is some good takeaways from this post.
[–]highjinx411 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I have to say I’ve met a guy like this and you couldn’t help but like him too. I never got jealous when he would come back with tales of three or foursomes and lipstick all over. Huge grin always on his blond surfer boy face. He was just a great guy to be around. Natural Alpha.
[–]CypherMX 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The thing about smiling is that it needs to be genuine and in order for it be genuine you need to actually feel like smilling. The other things you recommend as well. Without that positive energy and character you can't do it. You can try faking it of course, but people see through that, unless you have great acting skills lol. What I want to say is, if you don't naturaly feel good then you first have to figure that out before you can thrive and emulate Garry.
As a female I'm failing to see how this gets me. I see a lot of men giving advice like this and I'm reading it and I don't see how this would give me a reason to let you in my life. What do you mean get any girl you want?
You can't get any girl you want. The point is to sort through those that don't work for you, and to stay with those that fit your values. Incompatibility is a part of dating. Having a mindset like "i need to sleep with every girl I talk to" or whatever, is damaging and pointless.

Quite literally all you need to do is be yourself and make them laugh. Girls love guys who make them laugh. Period. Confidence helps but it’s not completely necessary. I’d like to meet a girl who can tell me this is not a true statement.
