Once a girl I was talking to left to be with her friends and I thought that was it and she came back and asked for my number . Then we texted for a while I set up a date, she ghosted for about a week then popped back up and that continued for 2 months.

I truly believe this. I don’t chase anyone no matter how attractive they’re now. This girl I was interested in, said she “might” be able to come to my birthday party next week and didn’t really offer any other alternative solution to hangout and I just left her on read.

It’s important to reach a point where you aren’t overly exerting yourself while the other person shows little interest. If they’re interested great if they don’t seem like they’re drop it

I don’t really think that’s fair to say. If a girl reacts the way you’ve shown here it’s basically a slam dunk. There are definitely a lot of situations where you won’t get that level of enthusiasm, but a little persistence can pay off big time. I’ve met tons of women who work and have lives and don’t always have a day to immediately offer. People just need to not take this shit so personally. Sure, don’t waste your time but you don’t need to discard the connection. Leave the lines of communication open.

Yea you date a while then you learn this stuff pretty quick, I just had a girl decline a date and not offer an alternative this past week, never said another word to her. If they don't accept your first date offer enthusiastically then things are usually over at that point.

I think you are right. Maybe you could ask if she's available some other day or specially if she has a genuine excuse. But don't persist it too much after that it's just a lost case. But if you leave it open without persisting too much and annoying her or ending it completely, maybe in the future you encounter her again (maybe a comment on a photo or randomly on the streets), by then a lot of things could have changed and you can go after her again...

Terrible advice. Generally the more value the girl has, the more you need to prove yourself to get a date; Its likely you need to be more confident, persistent and interesting than the other men trying to make something happen. If you listen to this kind of advice you might miss catching a really good woman because you didn't try hard enough.
