But I have to weigh three important moral stances against one another.
On one moral question, it's about how someone should treat others in an invitation scenario, I personally think it's the best choice to make but..
On the second moral question I have to ask if my beliefs should dictate what others believe, which I don't, that's their personal choices to make.
And on the third moral question, I have to ask myself if I have any right to respond aggressively, negatively, spitefully, or judgementally to someone because our morals don't align. No, the most fair thing I can do is move on. That person in my life would only cause conflict, because their moral belief about what's polite when declining an invitation would be unacceptable to deal with for me. If we don't share that one belief, there's likely to be more similar ones. So this brings me back to another point I made differently: Why bother?
