As an American professional who has lived overseas in a majority English speaking Asian country for 1-2 years, what you're suggesting does tend to be true, i.e it is drastically easier if you're a foreigner to get with local women.

Asians tend to live with their families until marriage. By virtue of having your own place, it's easier to bring people back home for adult activities, whereas for locals it's impossible to do that without grandma listening in on your "conversation".
Are you an American who finds people with European accents attractive? Believe it or not, people in other countries might find your nasty ass jersey accent hot. You may be more attractive by virtue of being different from the norm.
Are you tall and white? Tall white males are generally more desirable as romantic partners statistically, they're more desirable as a status symbol, and/or they're more desirable by virtue of their fairer skin (Asians and others for that matter view pale skin to be a very desirable physical characteristic trait).

For these reasons and many obvious others (potential for American citizenship, strong value of the dollar compared to Thai baht, etc.), it is 1000% easier for you to get romantic partners in Thailand, Singapore, Korea, and other similar places than it is for you back at home. At home, you're probably a dime a dozen. Over there, you're an attractive commodity.

I'll temper this by saying if you do take advantage of this, good for you, but just be aware that this isn't an unknown phenomenon. If you're going over there for the sole purpose of sleeping with women and you don't really have any special desirable characteristics traits aside from the 3 points above, you may or may not fall into the "loser back home" category (more reading material for you).

Am I trying to make a point here? No I wouldn't say so, this is r/seduction. If your goal is sleeping with as many women as possible, then by all means, go overseas and your success rate should skyrocket. You're not the first to do it! Just try not to be total shit for brains and make the rest of us look bad, and maybe try to work on yourself and have other redeeming qualities aside from being white and American while you're there (not making any assumptions here, just providing some context). And keep in mind, while it makes it easier, if you're a 5'4 incel with zero game, you're probably still going to get ragdolled by some 5'11 South Korean Chad just like you would back home too, so it's not a given that you'll end up slaying 9/10 Asian chicks all day either, food for thought lol.

PSA: You can definitely get some advantages if you come off as exotic in some way too the demographics of people you are dealing with, but at the end of the day you still need at least a little basic game and a grasp of logistics to bring the plane in for a landing.

2.) Things to Keep in Mind about Getting Laid Abroad

What do I mean about logistics and basic game? A few things:

If you're capable of getting laid at all where you live now, then traveling abroad may enhance your chances, especially if you can relax and get into a fun mindset.
If you've got a bad mindset, you're still going to shoot yourself down even when girls are up for it. More than once, I've seen people who were in a really bad state of mind with a girl coming at them DTF, only for their attitude to lead to unforced errors, and they end up watching as another dude swoops in and scoops up the girl.
If you are staying at a hostel and you don't have a private room, then you're probably going to have a bad time trying to bring anybody back to the room you're sharing with 4-6 people. (These are called dorm rooms.) You can often end up choosing between losing out or forking out for a hotel last minute if you're not careful.
If you have decent inner game, then you can have a really good time. Heaven forbid you go on a trip with a bad mindset hoping the place you're going to will result in women magically dropping on your crotch. The trip won't fix your game if you don't already have some basic level before you go.

3.) A Little More on "Party Hostels"

2nd PSA: And this is an important one for people who are getting excited about "party hostels."

They are a thing, yes. And they're all over the world.

But "party hostel" is not so much a formal category of lodging, so much as an informal term which describes the way a particular place is designed, run, and/or marketed.

A ) It's often a marketing term that hostels used to attract people.

Not all of them do a good job of encouraging the party.

Some hostels don't have good event organization.
Others don't have a good common room so it's difficult to actually meet the people staying there.

If you do a search for "party hostel," you're going to get search results that just list off a bunch of hostels. Not all of them will actually be party hostels.

B.) Do your homework before you pick a hostel.

Dig into the reviews and read social media comments. You're going to have to sort through reviews that have sometimes been seeded by staff at the hostel so it can be tricky sometimes.
Looking through the pictures is going to be important. Does the place have a good common area?
Also important to see if the hostel actually runs events out of its location. Meaning, does it have staff that takes guests staying there, out to do something? If so, look at the pictures they've posted of past events.
Sometimes a hostel won't formally take people out on events, but if you're socializing with people there in the common area, including staff, you can end up going out informally to have fun with people.
Party hostels with private rooms are best. This is important for logistics if you want to actually stay at the hostel and meet people there while also having a place to bring someone if you get lucky. Trying to score in a room where 4 to 6 people are coming and going, is not always going to work.

C.) It's not all glamorous at (party) hostels.

The kind of people who go to these kinds of hostels can awesome people that you keep in touch with for years down the road. I'm still in touch with people I've met at such places.

But the reputation these hostels have tends to attract a lot of immature people as well. As much fun as you can have at these places, there are a lot of other things you can experience.

People puking in the room.
Drunk idiots stumbling into the dorm room just before dawn.
That moron who has a flight out in a few hours but forgot to pack their bags so they make a ton of racket at 5:30 in the morning.
At some locations, short-term cliques can form. And if someone on staff or someone in the clique decides they don't like you, your night can end up sabotaged.
One time I even witnessed a domestic abuse situation happening in the wee small hours of the morning. Some drunk dude was literally choking his girlfriend in a dorm bed next to me.

I mention all these things not to say that party hostels are bad. But if you think it's a magic cure all that's going to get you laid, that's not true either.

You need to go in with your eyes open, do your homework and prepare, or you're going to have a bad time.
