I think the problem is male sexual violence is way too tolerated. To the point women are often blamed when they are the victim of sexual assault. Also wartime rape doesn't make biological sense as the women are often killed. I think that's really where the issue is. People think of these extreme examples of male sexuality and our sexuality becomes a threat even at low socially acceptable levels.

No one is criticizing male sexuality. They’re criticizing what men try to get away with and pretend they can’t do because of their sexuality.

Men love to pretend like their sexuality is reactive when it isn’t. Men are always hovering right at the baseline of horniness, then they see a pretty women and their horniness causes them to do some stupid shit. There is nothing wrong with having a strong interest in sex as long as its respectful and consensual - spreading genes through sex because of "primal instict" though is another story because women are used as incubators and in certain first world countries still don't have the right to safe abortion - let alone in other parts of the world where if you accidentally get pregnant, your future is set and you have to stop going to school and get married for "honour".

There are also men who manipulate women because they want to spread their genes and get them pregnant then leave them after baiting them that they would be a good father. Not all males of other species get to reproduce though. Female sexual selection is way higher in other animals than it is humans. Unfortunately different cultural rules get to dictate that the males who reproduce the most, probably shouldn’t.

Your premise is false.

Biologically speaking, and using your own flawed understanding, a man's purpose would be to influence a net positive survival rate for the human species. That can be accomplished without the simplistic solution of mass impregnation you're suggesting.

For example, a man who dies in battle without offspring but helps win a conflict that saves lives would be a bigger net benefit than a coward who had 6 children but let them all die in a bear attack.

Biologically speaking, we (all humans) are essentially de-conditioned since birth regarding biology. Holding our piss/shit in, taught to ignore our bodies when they’re in pain, taught to hide our pain, to avoid settling issues how other animals might (via fighting, sometimes resulting in death of another individual, depending on a lot of factors). The mothers of other social mammals randomly abandon and eat their babies (that’s demonized probably more than wanting to fuck, but all killing seems to be…unless the government tells you to do it abroad). Even things like sitting in and upright chair. I have ADHD and do recall not liking chairs because they felt wrong. Later in life I find out that the natural human sitting position is the “gargoyle” squat that I used to position myself in chairs like, and still do now that I’m old enough to make decisions like that. (Side note,,,if ADHD is even a real “disorder”; kinda seems like humans who have more residual primitive traits get diagnosed with a fake ass problem, when the problem is not the lack of focus on a screen all fucking day, but maybe the lack of movement itself. Think about it: primitive times called for quick sensory distractions to occupy top priorities in our brains. Anyone who is “good at adulting” is just…lucky them in this context, but while they’re praised for their “hard work” and confused about why they cannot maintain a healthy weight, they’d die so friggin fast if a bunch of us were racing to escape a predator from making us their lunch haha).

Men are trying to pass on their genes. The first part of this is having sex. The second part of this is protecting women during pregnancy and providing for and/or looking after the children.

Even on a purely biological level, having sex with more women wouldn't be the only consideration. Being seen to be providing for children might lead to more sex (either with the mother of the children, or with other women).

Female humans do have a season, roughly fall through winter. It's altered by external factors such as birth control, as well as social factors such as being able to choose to have sex outside of our season. It's weird and not really talked about, but it's true.

I think it's more than men were genetically programmed to have as many kids as they could as quickly as they could because they typically did the dangerous stuff and had (and still do have) higher odds of dying before being able to have kids.

We are debating the meaning of life. Nobody knows the answer and nobody knows if there really is one or more answers.

We can also talk about it from a biological point of view, psychological, societal, all of the above, or any other way, without getting to a consensus.

We still know so little about the human brain and psychology, compared to other branches of studies, and, last time I checked, psychology as a whole is going through a replication crisis so we may end up needing to start from scratch our experiments, theories and research about it.

So for the meaning of life debate/answer, I would wait a few hundred years (with cryonics it is theoretically possible) to reevaluate our capacity to answer that question.

As for the criticism, no, I do not think men are unfairly criticized.
