The truth is most guys can't approach a girl, period. Moreso, those who do approach can't do it without being nervous, they can't relax, can't be present, can't even be still, calm, at peace and comfortable throughout the entire interaction. It's so valuable to have those traits I just described, they make your ability to attract a girl twice as good. Until you approach and develop strong inner game (reading The Power of Now helped me with not being phased by any situation), you're going to have a weakness in your ability to interact and succeed in pickup because you are easily phased and this is, simply put, unattractive.

How I always approach.

First, if you're not attractive, go get attractive. If you're even a 3/10, you can have great success by being well-clothed, groomed, having good posture, and the hard one- fit.

The foundation of your approach should be something like literally walking or running up to her (girls are practically always blown away when you run after them) or sitting next to her or standing near her and exchanging "Hi's" with her.

"I thought you looked really beautiful/ I really like _ / Your __ is incredible (whatever you fancy about her) so I had to come talk to you."

Do all this without breaking eye contact. It will make you stand out. She will know right then and there, that you're not just another one of those guys.

From there, she will most likely give you a very positive response, usually something to the effect of "Oh my gosh, wow, haha thanks, you're amazing!!!" with a huge smile.

Your reaction to this is important, my reaction tends to be somewhat to the effect of a facial expression that positively says "Yeah, well you're super hot I'm not denying it" and you can almost see on my face and in my deep breathe that I'm somewhat overwhelmed by how attractive I find her.

From there is where practice and self-development will take you from a standout approacher to a standout guy who she wants to keep around.

Anyway, Liam McRae taught this and it improved my interactions immensely. I've stayed with a girl I just met and talked to her for 30 minutes and we're talking the whole time but we're hardly even paying attention to the words, we just lock eyes and all we're doing is being present in the moment and feeling the intensity of the connection. This is how you really stand out to a girl. It's not the words that you're doing wrong most likely, but rather the deeper sense of connection you get by being present with each other. Essentially, being present, still, and not being clouded by thoughts in your head, simply being in the moment with that intense connection there, will allow you to have very deep and powerful subcommunications where you naturally show your attraction and interest to each other.

If you're not getting it, just go up to a girl and lock eyes with her for 5 seconds before you say anything. Don't lose your frame if she makes a face/gets confused/uncomfortable. Just fucking stare at her. She's hot, you want her. You like the way she looks. You want to look at her. Practicing this will help you exemplify this trait in your interactions better.

Logistics:

Don't ask girls in classes. Not fun. After class, go scout the campus and hallways for hot chicks and pick em all up.

I got 7/7 phone numbers and 4 dates today all from stunners, and even a make out. Don't be super high energy, don't be concerned at all by her reactions. Just go up and talk to a girl. Be honest. I have an extremely high success rate with college daygame and this is what I do.
