Back in April, I caught my wife of 22 years having an affair. Once I found out, I went to the lawyer, retained them, and filed for divorce the next day.

Since then, I've hit the gym and lost a ton of weight. I have made huge gains on getting my health back, and I am in better shape than i have been in 20 years. I'm dating and have reconnected with an old girlfriend I was crazy about before my ex-wife and I met.

I consider the whole situation a blessing since the changes I always dreamed about making are now a reality. It's feels like I'm living in a fantasy I would have had back when I was married to her.

My only hang-up is that she has never once told me why she had the affair instead of coming to me to end things amicably. She hasn't even tried to explain any of it. I never cheated on her or abused her in any capacity. I always put her needs first and made sure she was provided for.

I honored my vows, and I feel like she owes me at least that. Am I wrong for thinking this, or should I just accept that the woman I knew for 22 years was a stranger?
