Lol I write fanfiction with FDS principles in mind! I also hate how much fanfiction is so violently misogynistic. It’s even sadder when you realize most of the authors writing about violent sex and rape are young women and even teenage girls :(

I am currently writing a romance novel with a HVM as a main character. I hope to publish it in the next year.

I would suggest any of the Austen books.

The Worst Best Man and Red White and Royal Blue are two I absolutely loved and are both spicy. My friend and I like contemporary romance better, and then we like to judge whether the man is a HVM, LVM, or NVM. Usually we quit the book when the man is not HV, just depends. I do enjoy picking apart the stories to see how the men act, helps me gain additional perspective! Also, we stick to women authors. I feel they are more likely to write books to our taste rather than a dumbass scrote writer haha.

Where the Crawdads Sing. It’s about the marsh girl who learned her value from being one with nature. Read it before it’s the movie comes out next year. It’s beautifully written.

I like a good popcorn romance novel from time to time, but soooo many are unreadably rapey, so I’m really, really picky.

I love the Dark Hunter/Dream Hunter series, the League/Nemesis series and the Lords of Avalon series by the author Sherrilyn McQueen, formerly Sherrilyn Kenyon. She has a harrowing cautionary tale from her real life. Her ex-husband, who by all accounts seemed like a HVM, was found to be poisoning her and stealing her money, among other things.

I'm personally partial to an oldie but goodie, Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me.

Also love anything by Courtney Milan, if you enjoy historical fiction. Milan is Heidi Bond in another life, an exceptional lawyer and legal mind who was harassed out of the legal profession by Super Scrote Kozinski.

It's pretty cheesy, but I enjoyed the American Royals series. The books are about a world in which the Washington family became a monarchy, and the main characters are all women either in or connected to the American Royal Family.

There's some silly stuff (and some of the characters are awful), but it's definitely more of made up world which I'm fine giving certain things a pass in. Same with the Selection series.

If you like historical romances, maybe try Indigo by Beverly Jenkins. Both the heroine and the hero are HV.

I like “my dictator boyfriend” and “suitor armor” on webtoon. The first one is a gay romance story and the second one is straight romance. I used to read a lot of trash fanfics in my pickme days too so I can relate lol. I really like the second webtoon because the main character’s love interest doesn’t pursue her in an abusive way and respects her boundaries.

I just finished Get A Life, Chloe Brown and it was super spicy. She has chronic pain and finds a guy who actually attends to her. She’s a bad bitch and the sexual tension is off the charts

I cannot recommend you romance books but all I can recommend is for you to scroll the nobel/ booker prize list and read literature written by women. there can be found some romance there but with a bigger focus on the woman and not the relationship. I honestly began to think that romance stopped being category years ago as it's been desecrated by macdonalds book series turned blockbusters.

I have a friend who is an amazing author and also an FDSer so I don't want to out her by recommending her very popular books! But she writes with FDS values in mind. High Value women and High Value men feature in her stories. . She also includes low value scroteria for colour, flavour and the lulz

A Court of Thorns and Roses series. The first book was an okay read but honestly the second one just makes you go "Yaaas Queen" and the third was just so good. Freya has moments as the FL that make you want to tell her to level up and by golly did that bitch level up 💅

I love Courtney Milan books and Tessa Dare books but they're definitely not for everyone. The men are pretty HV imo and the women have orgasms lol.
