I've learned that the Blues of PPD are either the kind of people who simply "aren't RP" as in they're naive,optimistic, content, whatever you want to call it; and are largely, as RP would put it, plugged into the Matrix programming which makes them "Blue Pill" by default so of course they would oppose RP. But then I notice some Blues here who have this trollish and passive aggressive snarkiness vibe to them based on their comments; they are well aware of the power imbalance men face in the dating scene and how some men struggle, yet they for some reason they find it within themselves to join a debate forum and posts threads guised as questions and CMVs that you can tell is subtly designed to jab and jeer at RP guys. These particular bloops are basically trolls and bullies who get a kick of kicking struggling, hurting men into the ground. They're the bullies in school who loved shoving smaller/weak kids into the locker and went out of their way to humiliate or put down those the perceive to be weak.

I kinda knew men were being screwed over to a certain degree but not to the extent I have seen here. Some people call certain subs an echo chamber, but a lot of of the arguments here are people defending and having to take apart strawmen and bad accusations waiting for an 'aha!' moment. This is on both sides. I have seen BPers who make good points seem frustrated with their peers' close minded approach, so too witg TRP.

That being said, I haven't seen many feminists saying 'oh shit. This is unfair. We need to change this' or no one responds to it when the person has a point. For example, issues about how men perceive women to be generally poorly behaved is going to be treated with far more suspicion than a woman saying men behave poorly. Any criticism of women or feminism is required to pass some serious tests of proof before they even consider the point. Even then, they dig their heels in.

Another issue is when one side brings up an issue, the other side perceives it as a threat to their resources. So a shelter for men will imply that women somehow get less or having a choice in being a parent means limiting women's choices somehow. Men have been giving up or sharing a lot to help women reach equality but any talk of men getting a hand up gets shouted down pretty quickly. I am always amazed at how women point to male privilege and not only ignore theirs but refuse to give any up, while insisting men give theirs up.

This denial of male problems or blaming toxic masculinity creates mistrust because a lot of men feel like most women don't understand or don't care. Or both. This makes it harder for reasonable people to get a point across. For example, I am pro choice and don't believe we should tell women what to do with their pregnancy. But I don't think it is fair to force a man to be a parent against his will. So many people see the 2nd part and think "oh, so no more abortions or choices? Got it" and strawman to the extreme instead of considering the point.

It means having to qualify a lot of statements or setup a really good context first before targeting the issue so there is less room for straw type interpretations.

When I first started reading TRP, I tried to find a place that could provide counter-points. I landed on TBP and I could not find what I was looking for. Eventually, I ended up on PPD.

My views were never quite set in stone since I've only consistently read TRP for the early part of my PPD career and now that I have gotten what I want from it I feel no real need to return.

With that said, my views have expanded on the narrow viewpoint that the TRP echo chamber promotes. Unfortunately, since the vast majority of BP posters here are just shit posters / ignorant of the topic they're trying to argue it's hard to gleam something of value from them.

I feel a lot more informed now than I did before I joined. My pill association hasn't changed, but I now have a more nuanced view of RP. You can't paint all RP users with the same brush - there's so much divide within their own group on constitutes "real red pill" that it's clear not much is universally agreed on.

I used to ID as purple because I thought some RP advice made sense. Then I read RP arguments on here and realized thinking that not being a doormat is good (TRP) and not being a bitch is good (RPW) does not make me RP because I don't believe in the theory...

Used to think sexism didn't exist anymore in the 21st century. Rp proved me wrong.

I have however also noticed some more cases of sexism against men such as the draft and I oppose those as well.

I realized I can't be red pill. The noise to signal ratio on that sub (and other sites, including Rollo) is too high. Also, red pill creates its own myths while breaking blue pill myths. There are better, more logical voices for that purpose. But I still appreciate red pill for their anger and moral compass (about some things anyway). I like logic and science as much as any scientist, but feminist lies piss me off, and it's nice to know other people hate them just as much. I think red pillers should let go off any guilt or embarrassment they might feel about the anger phase, though.

My view of blue pill is about the same as it was. A bunch of lies, occasionally true, just like creationism.

Only guy that has ever posted here that has was jacktenofhearts, but he's another old MRPer. Talking with him was like bloodsport, but as my 'sober second thought' he was great. Whether I thought he was right or not was irrelevant, he made me second guess myself, enough to articulate why I am right, or what I missed the first time.

I have learned better text game, and practice new lines I use for AM/AA here though.

And a few pretty girl names I can attach to users, so I know not all of you are 28-32, wasted your youth on LLC degrees and CC riding etc.

It's too bad the young gay guys in here don't know many older gay guys, they offer a lot of wisdom if they would be arsed to listen

I would say my views have been greatly refined over the years, largely by the blue leaning purples and more chill, outlier reds. Atlas_B and griddy are probably the biggest gamechangers for me. A lot of the times the blues appear red AF to me and I don't think they realize it.

hyperrreal was a big gamechanger for more introspective emotional stuff.

I feel as though I have been affected greatly by discussions on ppd.

I used to think that I was an aberration, an anomaly. That I was the only person who was raised with "be nice, be yourself, and someday someone will love you just for who you are!" I also used to think that no one actually believed this; that it was a platitude people said. PPD has disabused me forever of that notion. I have learned that there are some Blue people who really, truly do believe this and absolutely will not ever be budged from it regardless of all the evidence to the contrary.

I used to think people weren't really all that cruel; that my upbringing was another aberration. Now, after posting here for about 2 years, I've found some of you to be even crueler and more monstrous than I ever thought possible. Some of you are bullies who delight in the pain and misfortune of others. You're schadenfreude on steroids.

I've discovered that some Blues really do think that people are so complex and different, that you really believe human relationships and human responses can't be predicted with any degree of certainty. I've also learned that this belief is the basis for the Blue Pill "grand unified theory" of life and intersexual relationships.

I had no idea the extent to which you Blues really don't understand the difference between sexual attraction, and comfort. But you really do not get it. Neither do women. Even Red Pill women don't get the difference.

I've also learned that at least as far as Blues go, this subreddit is composed almost completely of extreme outliers.

My Changed Viewpoints:

There are lots of differences in sexual dynamics based on race, class, region of the US, and SES. They're subtle differences, but they are differences. A black woman from Detroit sees a very, very different sexual landscape than does a white man from Paducah, KY, than does a white woman from Beverly Hills.

Sluts can marry well, provided they are from the coasts, are white, and have college educations. Sluts experience relationship success/failure very differently, depending on their race, class, and geographic location.

I used to think sluthood causes mental/emotional problems. I now realize that it's the reverse - women have some bad shit happen to them and develop mental/emotional problems, and one way they cope is through slutty behavior, and using their sexual power to manipulate men into doing what they want/giving them what they want.

/r/bluepill really isn't about bluepill at all, because according to BP on this subreddit, /r/bluepill doesn't have any philosophy and exist just to mock redpillers.

There's also many different types of Bluepill... RP describe ppl not RP is bluepill as an extension to the Matrix... but the for the most part, Bluepill in PPD isn't ignorant on the power imbalance for men in the dating scene, the gender bias against male in the court system as well as as society in general, the issue with false rape accusation, the hypocrisy and the paradoxical position of 3rd wave feminism... the wage gap myth, etc...

Yet somehow these BP will still argue and argue and try to either turn these into non-issues, or start a victimhood Olympics whenever these issues are bought up in PPD. Also whenever these issues are raised.. BPer's are like.. "yeah these issues are bad" and then go on to gloss over the issues without realizing how, because of these issues and not addressing them, turn more men into Redpillers/MRA/MGTOW everyday.

This is a debate sub for both sides of the argument, and I think RP let BPers off the hook too easy. RP should question BPers in terms of their beliefs.. and "having none/don't care", or "Sure I care about male issues.. but women...", or BP responding using shaming language isn't really a fair or honest answer.

Also I think BP would ultimately be the holdout in this sub in the long run... RP is a process for self-development and RP would experience success would ultimate leave this sub because they got better things to do then arguing over what they know works over the internet.

RP ideas about male self-improvement are still pretty good imo, but their views on women range from questionable to downright awful. BP is mostly feminists who disavow any criticism of their ideology as "straw feminism", but there are some moderates who just are very critical of RP.

I definitely became more red pill here. I never read a single post on TRP, and I only learned the concepts from YouTube videos. The Amazing Atheist and Thnderf00t led me down the antifeminism rabbit hole, and the Tube suggested red pill and MGTOW videos to watch.

I don't remember why I subscribed here, but I soon found myself agreeing with nearly every comment posted by someone with red flair.

I don't know how accurately red pill philosophy reflects real life, but it's obvious that most bloopers have no idea what red pillers believe, or what any of the terms mean. Red pill explanations for various human behaviors make sense, and blue pill explanations just look like mental gymnastics. Bloopers try so hard to fit observed behavior into a feminist, women-are-wonderful worldview, and it just doesn't jibe. Look at the same behavior through a red lens, and everything fits. Everything flows. If you can accept a few unpleasant truths, so many seemingly irrational acts become understandable, and so many unexpected results become exactly what you would exoect.

That the vast majority of RP folks have no idea what feminism is. They over simplify it and/or lack understanding of theoretical, historical, and contextual underpinnings.

That some BP folks have the same issues.

That RP folks generally seem younger--judging from hyper focus on womens' ages for example--and an obsession with high school-esque clique-talk.

Many people here in PPD communicate articulately.

But you get the occasional, "I'm a guy and I am probably 15. And Soc's and Greasers just don't mix, Pony Boy," kind of posts that you have to show to others and ask, "Am I truly reading this guy ask about women who ride the cock carousel because they only like Chads and Chads are dicks and golly.... why do the wimmins gotta have a high fuck count and I bet they're fat' yo?" Those posts fuck it up for me. I read one and I'm done. Like people are really asking this?

I do find the occasional interesting RP post.

Sorry I can't be as positive as others. Some of this baffles the fuck out of me.

P.P.D. didn't make me feminist, in many instances it's reinforced my views that the main thrust of the contemporary intersectionalist zeitgeist is not a just movement.

However, in other cases, it has tempered my views on a lot of things. Women have their challenges, and they can feel emotions both like, and unlike, men.
