Everyone goes on endlessly about being an alpha or beta male.

Cool but you can’t divide men into those two wide, opposite categories. I’ve recently read about other male archetypes and especially the sigma male.

Quick rundown:

Alpha: bold, attention seeking, natural leader, aggressive

Beta: shy, modest, follower, timid

Sigma: lone Wolf, confident in self, not attention seeking but not shy, doesn’t care about rules/authorities

My Q is this: are we doing men a disservice by trying to categorize them in simplistic generalities? Wouldn’t it be beneficial to acknowledge way more types of men??
