Is everything else equal? Same personality? Same chemistry with you? Same sense of humor? These kinds of questions always forget that potential partners aren't "one-size-fits-all".

If Chad the bum would be fine doing all the housework/childcare and is a super reliable person otherwise, then I'd choose him because I'm fine being the breadwinner and I want someone to exercise with.

If Chad is nothing but a pretty face, then I'd choose the millionaire because we could hire a cleaning staff with all the extra money.

That said, I don't like extremes. So I'd choose to be alone if it were an option.

I feel for personal satisfaction money is more important but, if you're looking to simply impress women, then looks definitely matter more. I was 6ft4 250lbs and lean at 23. But I was in college and broke as shit. Like severely broke. This went on for a few years too as my career struggled to take off. I don't think I really got myself into gear until 29/30. At this point I had fucked a stupidly ridiculous amount of women and had lived a thoroughly debauched life. I had experienced being the toyboy, the bull and the extramarital lover. But for a lot of my twenties I felt deeply unhappy. I'm not sure if its something in just men, but physical validation can leave you feeling deeply dissatisfied. In fact, it can actually end up feeling very dehumanising. I think as men, we truly value being useful. Whilst I was fucking a whole lot, I was never anything more than a stunt dick to many. It was actually kinda intriguing how many sexual experiences one would have where the woman simply didn't entertain the thought of anything further. And it wasn't because of a clash of personalities but rather simply due to the fact that she had relegated you to the type of man she had nothing more than a casual sexual experience with.

When my career took off and I started earning really good money, I actually noticed that I was dealing with less women. Once you realise your utility as a man, you're less willing to put up with bullshit in order to get laid. I wasn't only supporting myself but also helping out my parents so the last thing I needed to deal with was a girl who could end up getting knocked up and weighing me down. So yes, I would say there are fewer greater validating feelings like a woman having a raw animal attraction to you...but, at the same time, being able to provide for yourself and others, being able to have access to the kind of lifestyle where basic necessities and comforts are provided for, is deeply satisfying and a positive contributor to your sense of well being.

In terms of attracting women and having sex, definitely looks.

However, I think becoming rich is more attainable than getting Chad caliber looks. The most important aspects of physical attraction are immutable characteristics made of bone so you kinda either have it or you don't.

I think looksmaxxing works the best for guys that have a good genetic foundation (tall, broad shoulders, good facial structure) but are just fat/chubby. For those guys lookmaxing will pay major dividends. For other guys I think the returns will be more negligible.

Efficiency requires a desired outcome.

Basically both versions are going to be able to get women, but the women will want the Chad bum for his body and the short fat rich dude for his money. If you're looking for passionate sex with women who have genuine desire for your penis then Chad bum all the way, if you want the woman to stick around for long enough to divorce you and take your shit then short fat millionaire. It also depends on the demographic of woman you're looking for. Even if you're just keeping it casual, you'll have access to different kinds of women as a rich man than a bum.

Most men could nearly looksmax with 1 year of hard effort maybe 2 to put on some more lean mass.

If you push aside doctors and lawyers, most other careers or self built business usually takes 3-5 years of intense work to really start having enough money where it is impressive to women. Many times it is more a 5-10 year timeline to do this.

Looksmax is less time and effort, but the money will have a bigger return for men that are 6s in looks or below, or over 40 years old.

Ultimately as a man it is best off to looksmax in your college years and start an online business.

Otherwise if a man is past college and new to RP and starting from ground zero. I would say 1 year of looksmax while also working hard at money. After year 1 of looksmax going on cruise control speed and just maintain while focusing more back on money.

The money part is about lifestyle. Mainly about the place you live in. In today's rent I would say you need a place that is $3000+ a month to rent or $1M+ to own probably even higher to really make a difference to impress women. Go to nice restaurants, events, vacations, weekend getaways, high end hotels frequently. Really nice furniture. Nice car/suv $80k+ is a bonus.

Double all the lifestyle money number I put - $6k+ per month rent, $2M+ place, $160k+ car and now you are getting into golddiggerville. If you get to these number you are better off being more social and making more contacts than making more money for the most part. At this point you are top fraction of top 1%. Micro fame or bigger becomes the best aid.
