I'm about to get married to my partner soon. There is a significant difference in our assets and our annual salary (She makes around 70k with no other investments). I have made significant amount of money through stocks and cryptos (6 figures) in addition to my annual salary. If any of us file for divorce, how will the assets be split between us. I apologize if it is a beginner question. I'm not familiar with the divorce laws across different states. I have heard that in some states, prenup are not taken seriously and the judge always rules in favor of women in most cases. Also, what's the most effective way to protect my assets acquired before marriage?
