I'm eastern European too. One way eastern European men might show HV traits at first is that they will act as gentlemen (opening doors, paying for dates etc.), but bear in mind that it's a cultural norm. In eastern Europe men pay for most of the things and women do most of the housework and looking after the kids.

Eastern European men tend to be more traditional in this way, but a lot of them are mysoginists and a lot of them are alcoholics. In fact, the mysoginy is so bad that I lived there for the first 18 years of my life and I've never dated anyone from my home country (and mind you, I was a confused pick me teen girl, but I was still able to see through them).

This is very common among a certain type of white guy, they think they get to try everything they‘ve always wanted to do with black women, because "we‘re into that". Also that we are also desperately into them among other horrid beliefs.

Funny thing is I‘ve heard the exact thing about white women coming from non-western men, particularly if they weren‘t raised in the West. White women are easy and are all prostitutes who will do everything within minutes of meeting them.

It‘s almost like scrotery is international, and also I blame porn. Men react like this towards women they don‘t interact on a daily basis outside of porn. So a white guy who doesn‘t actually know any black women irl, literally thinks any black woman he encounters = what he saw in porn. Same for the African or Arab man who didn‘t grow up around white women. Porn-addled mess for a brain.

I’m not surprised by the fetishisation as it’s something I’m aware of and have experienced myself…but how can he just have a whole ass bag full of sex toys on a date?!!! I’ve had some questionable things said to me on dates before but my jaw would’ve been on the floor if I experienced this. It’s so nasty and unhygienic too, the fact that he would expect a woman to use sex toys from a stranger like that. I don’t think I’d have been able to say anything after they dropped on the floor. I’d have just gave him a “wtf was that” look and walked straight out 😳

Oh my god. That is fucking insane. The fetishization of women of colour really pisses me off (asian girls are submissive, black girls are promiscuous, Latin girls are “spicy”) and it never ends.

I’m a white girl myself, so I don’t experience a lot of this, but I’ve sworn off foreign men who come from patriarchal societies. The amount of times I’ve turned down an Arab, Indian, or Eastern European dude, and was told I was a “western whore” and that I wasn’t “fooling them” by turning them down and that I probably “took it up the ass,” is far too many times.

Regardless of colour, I think a lot of men, even men in our own countries, look at places with feminism (and liberal feminism in particular) as places where women have no self respect, and have sex with anyone and everyone. Back in my OLD days, men would always offer me money to have sex with them while they were visiting town.

I’m at the point now where I’ve sworn off the whole freaking sex.

This is why I don't date outside of my race/ethnicity. Men already fetishize and objective women, I don't wanna deal with another layer of race based fetishization that comes from stereotypes and porn.

I’m a white woman who grew up in a predominantly non-white community. There are men of color who racially fetishize white women. I think it’s worth mentioning that white women should also keep their eyes out for red flags that they are being racially fetishized. That said, it’s not my intent to derail this conversation and make it about white women.
