Assume that women are the sellers (of sex) and men are the buyers. Women try to get the highest price for their product ie the highest LMS man that they can get.

To do this women auction themselves to the highest bidder. They post themselves on social media, apps, and online communities and let the men message them and make bids aka offer them "dates" or gibs.

If women don't get a high price, they just keep the auction going forever. I'm sure that we will eventually see 70 year old women on tinder demanding "high value men".

This system means that every man is competing with hundreds or thousands of other men for the same woman. And chances are high that no one gets the girl, because she has every incentive to hold out for even better offers.

If a man has high enough LMS, women will try to sell themselves directly to that man. Usually because the guy is way better than anything they can get in an auction.

Men with high LMS don't play the auction game they just pick what they want. You can see this in places where women try to date rich guys, it's the women trying to make the sale. Look for YouTube videos about women dating rich men and you will see women talking about how to meet such men and impress them. (It's not gonna happen girls)

If it's not obvious by now, playing the auction game is for suckers. High Value Men don't "bid" for women. They pick from the options presented to them.

Guys who don't have women making them offers are not high value (to women) and are playing a sucker's game. The men that the women really want get offers from the women.
