The audacity is ridiculous. But as someone who works in the healthcare field, this shit happens more and more and a lot of the time nothing is done about it. There was a time I went to do my rounds and went into this male patients room and I swore he was rubbing my leg but he looked dead asleep so I just brushed it off. At the end of my shift is when I found out that TWO females had to go into this patients room at the same time because he was known for doing inappropriate things to the female staff. Like. They knew this at the beginning of my shift and didn’t even tell me.

Not to take away from OP at all with my story but to say I can empathize with her nurse friend and how she must’ve felt when that happened.

Men are becoming more and more ridiculous. They’ll take shots at women at any fucking time.

I once sat in on court proceedings as a part of paper I needed to write for a criminal justice class in college. A man sat next to me and asked if I'd spoken to the judge yet, and I said I hadn't and explained why I was there.

When the man did speak with the judge, it was revealed that he'd brandished a weapon at some women and threatened them.

Once he finished speaking with the judge, the man returned to his seat beside me and asked me out. 🤦🏿‍♀️

I’ll add to this… nurse here. I had a patient who came to the ER with a severe penile fracture he sustained while getting oral sex the night before. It was so bad he needed to go into emergency surgery so he didn’t lose his penis. The man proceeded to aggressively hit on me and my female coworker telling us we were beautiful, asking what we were doing next weekend… right up until he was taken away to the OR. He kept saying “I should be good to go by next weekend!!” Literally no shame. He was also my dad’s age. Like, no thanks bro. We. Are. Good.

I’ve had male patients approach me with various sex induced injuries, men who are positive for STDs, who are married etc. I’m sure it’s not surprising to anyone here that a lot of men have huge nurse fetishes. Guess we have porn to thank for that one.
