No. They will be unable to abort their children, but once the child has been born safe haven laws will still allow women to surrender their children. They won't have to be a parent for 18 years, and this was even discussed by the Supreme Court and factored into their decision.

As a minor point - if you don't want to have to pay child support (which I agree in some places is unfair), banning abortion is not going to help.

Personally, i'm in favor of the father being able to put it on record that he's in favor of abortion and willing to assist with the cost if required, and then if she decides to have the baby anyway, this excuses him from all child support and parental rights and responsibilities.

I disagree with abortion as a means of contraception in case other means weren't used. I am however concerned about women who would be forced to keep a pregnancy that resulted from a rape or an abuse, and that shit to me is horrifying. I'm not from the US, and I don't understand the complete ramifications of the supreme court undoing a precedent, however I believe that abortion should be granted in special circumstances. We shouldn't stoop down to the level of an inflamatory feminazi cheering the loss of rights of the opposition.

Women literally die giving birth. How is that comparable to paying child support? Life threatening things cannot be forced on to someone. Never.

I will agree that women have more choice in terms of having/keeping children. But I don’t really see a solution for this problem.. when there’s 2 people, there’s always 1 that should have the upper choice right? How else can you decide.

I do appreciate that this makes reproductive rights between the two sexes more equal. Before this, women had a lot more control than men did. They did not have to face the consequences of having sex if they did not want to, but they could force a man to pay for a child against his will. Now they just have the same choice and responsibility men do: either take appropriate precautions, be prepared for the consequences, or don't have sex. They got way too used to having a get out of jail free card if they weren't responsible, but that option was morally repugnant and honestly indefensible in a civilized society. Glad that's getting fixed.

You all need to remember that this only pulls the Federal Government out of this, meaning that the States individually decide abortion laws. Everyone's freaking out like its a ban on abortion when its not.

Here's what you do. You fucking get to the state level elections and vote. IF you don't like your state's abortion laws, on way or another, then vote for the candidate that best represents your interests in establishing the laws you do want. If you feel that damn threatened, then move to another state that already has laws on the books you want!

You will claim that all you want is to advocate for men's rights but this kind of posts are more about bashing womnen's rights than anything else.

Men don't die from ilegally performed abortions, they are not the ones who have to bear the childs in their bodies with all the risk that it means.

Child support is nothing compared to raising a child full time, laws about child support exist so men can't just have unprotected sex and then peace out if they get women pregnant.

Women will die because of this, and men will still have to take care for unwanted children and abortion won't be an option, but all you have to say is "welcome to the fuckin' club"?

If she is pregnant and is with a man, he should have the right to have a say about the abortion, for that's equality, because it takes two people (man and a woman) to create an offspring.

If she has raped a man and got pregnant, abortion should be mandatory and she must face consequences. No man victim of rape should be put through the hell of paying child support to his rapist.

If she has gotten pregnant by a hookup, she should have known better that hookups are always a bad idea. Sex without dating is always a bad idea. Unsafe sex is always a bad idea.

Good forgivable reasons for abortion are:

Rape
Life danger
Health danger
Incest

They should stop taking their husbands for granted and divorce them for bullshit, unless they have very serious reason to divorce. And mothers should have their rights restricted so they don't turn the fathers into slaves like it's happening now. And they must be retaught to be more respectful towards their men and people in general.

If Roe V Wade is overturned, it won’t mean abortion is illegal in all states. It means it will be a matter of state’s rights, each state deciding for themselves. Obviously, we will see a variety of laws varying from state to state should that come to be.
