Arabs are also semitic 🤦🏻‍♂️

[–]iamjesus1991 214 points215 points216 points 3 years ago (52 children) | Copy Link

Dominant cultures? What does that BS even mean? I was homeless at 18 until 21. Got no help from anyone.

[–]HikuroMishiro 92 points93 points94 points 3 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Apparently 'dominant cultures' means the groups of people that are legally discriminated against and left out of help, funding, awareness, etc.

[–]mixing_saws 48 points49 points50 points 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Lets fight hate with hate. What could go wrong?

[+]Few-Dragonfruit7905 -7 points-6 points-5 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

It’s not even hate when they are pointing out social inequality. White men shouldn’t be so scared of poeple pointing out problems in society

[–]mixing_saws 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

No one here is scared. We just talk straight facts. And newsflash, white men also face lots of problems in society.

To use your own words:

"Non-white men shouldnt be so scared of people pointing out problems in our society."

[+]Few-Dragonfruit7905 -6 points-5 points-4 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Everyone faces problems. White men face less problems overall than other demographics

[–]mixing_saws 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

White men face less problems overall than other demographics

And? This doesnt make our problems irrelevant, just because someone else has it worse. Why cant we solve the problems of everybody? You know like in a true equal society. Or are you against that? Well if you are then you are not better than the people you hate.

Also these grievance study classes - where they make up facts and purposly misinterpret data? Oh and they also really like the nazi victim rhetoric to bash on the "oppressors".

Heres my proof:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kVk9a5Jcd1k&t=394s&pp=2AGKA5ACAQ%3D%3D

More detailed:

You should also have a look at: r/menkampf

Sorry but people using that rhetoric are very dangerous. Also this sub isnt about race, its about mens rights, which includes btw. all races.

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 -5 points-4 points-3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It’s ignorant to believe that there isn’t a power imbalance in the US. The IS was founded on the oppression of men and BIPOC. And this still goes on to this day. That doesn’t mean white men don’t face problems. They don’t face less problems and have an easier time than other genders and races.

[–]mixing_saws 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why cant we solve the problems of everybody? You know like in a true equal society.

Did you even read my comment or watched the sources i linked? You sound like a bot.

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The sources in the video aren’t even legit. I looked through the linked papers and it’s not published academic work. Just BS

[–]Flashy-Climate-4398 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]Cplpunishment03 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bro…. Come on

[–]Emergency-Honey-4466 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Where? Nowhere. That's the problem. Where do you see help for minorities and only minorities? Everywhere. For the "dominant cultures?" Nowhere.

[–][deleted] 59 points60 points61 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Exactly. White males are the least likely to be given help when needed. They are expected to foot the tax bill by working themselves to death whilst being told they are the worst thing to ever exist. Lack of help with housing, mental health, general health. The stats are there but no one cares as long as lip service is being paid to these fucking idiots. Hope you are in a better position now. And take solace in the fact you haven’t lived your life as a privilege little princess like half these morons. Some of the most privileged molly coddled people to ever exist in any point of history and they have the audacity to try lecture others.

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If the stats are there pull them up. You can’t talk about “stats” without proper evidence

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I can talk about whatever I want, the onus is on the accuser. So you are suggesting the stats are wrong am I right? Then look up the stats yourself. Everyone has seen them I don’t need to do the leg work for you.

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can’t make statements and say they are facts without showing facts

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Also, men can’t get help or don’t feel comfortable getting help because OTHER MEN call them “pussy” or tell them to “man up” when they are experiencing depression or other mental health problems. Again. Toxic masculinity. Men should feel comfortable going to therapist or seeking help. It’s OTHER MEN that don’t make it a safe place to be vulnerable

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have never heard those words in my life.

[–]The_Dapper_Balrog 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And it's women who "slut shame" each other, not men, but you wouldn't like that to be pointed out, would you?

[–]AcceptableParsely9 29 points30 points31 points 3 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

In todays society being a straight, white male puts you right at the bottom

[–]Few-Dragonfruit7905 -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nope. still the ruling class. Cus white men want to be discriminated against so badly.

[–]The_Dapper_Balrog 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So what about the fact that white men experience more discrimination in court than black women do? Or the fact that men have never had "reproductive rights", regardless of skin color? Or the fact that most victims of rape, violence (including police violence), and a bunch of other crimes are all men? (And no, it's not mostly men perpetrating against other men; most male rape victims are raped by women, as an example).

In short, it ain't white men who have a victim complex.

[+]Mistah_JB -37 points-36 points-35 points 3 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

No, you're still at the top. We're trying to make you realize you should just be equal.

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

First world problems. Bring that bull shit up with someone who experienced Venezuela's socialism.

Accountability. Know yourself and seek self improvement. Instead you bitch about white men while we commit suicide at rates you dont care about. In truth people with ideologies similar to yours would 100 percent put people in concentration camps if you were given the power to do so.

Guess im lucky your not my dictator huh?

Attrocious honestly.

You one of them white hispanics?

[+]Mistah_JB -16 points-15 points-14 points 3 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

The we and country of origin throwing me off. You know it's not "white " men.its the Anglo whites I'm america and Europe. What is going on here. And white ppl put ppl in camps all the time.

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Zealots put people in camps. And your ideas matches the same as what others historically have used to justify putting people in concentration camps

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 11 points12 points13 points 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

do you consider japanese people to be white? Cause the amount of war crimes they committed during ww2 was substantially more attrocious then what was committed by the americans

[+]Mistah_JB -7 points-6 points-5 points 3 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, in ww2, which for loads of reasons is inaccurate. Japan wasn't in ww2. Theu were having their own war at the same time. There's a nuance. And let's check every single war since then. Whose BY committed the worst war time atrocities? Cause it wasn't Arabs blowing up an entire convoy of women and children, and considered it collateral damage.

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 16 points17 points18 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Japan wasnt in world war 2."

Im sorry can you phrase that in a way that isnt wrong please

[–]Dakun05 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Japan wasn't in ww2?" WHAT? somebody skipped history class and know want to tell me I am privileged because I am a man and white

[–]Nobleone11 11 points12 points13 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Japan wasn't in ww2.

Shows exactly how far your education goes:

From Ziltch to nothing.

Stalin was directly responsible for the starvation of an estimated 60 million people.

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In December 1941 Japan, already at war with China, attacked British, Dutch and American territories in Asia and the Pacific. By June 1942, Japanese conquests encompassed a vast area of south-east Asia and the western Pacific.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just showing another reason why the American education system is more useless than a blowtorch in a house fire.

[–]Temporary_Spend_3111 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Identity politics is what stalin used to justify that. Kill all the "oppressors" no more skilled farmers. Millions die of starvation.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You are fucking defective in the head mate

Idk what drugs you are on but I want some

[–]Cplpunishment03 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Were trying to make you realize you’re already equal, thats just not convenient for you

[–]TFME1 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're perfectly willing to turn an entire demographic groups into some monolithic "dominant cultural group", as a collective, even as they weep, cry, stomp their feet and scream at the sky that they're "nOt a MonOlItHiC GrOuP!" and we must "ReSpEcT mY InDiViduAliTy!" Effing hypocritical morons.

[–]Sintar07 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It means that in the past, the well off made no secret they were well off, but in the present it's am embarrassment and greatly frowned upon to be better off, so those who are use their power and influence to declare themselves victimized and lower than you, so not only do we get to be shit on by them, we also get to be gaslight about how we're actually in power and stuff.

[–]Lightning77Plus 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Should have thought of that before you chose to be born with your genitals and skin colour.

[–]Discipline_Demon 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So, most people in the US are oppressed. The prevailing status that affects oppression is based on classism more than anything. Most cis white men in the US face classist oppression.

The difference is that the system itself is designed to allow a small number of cis white men to do that oppression. So you can be oppressed, but not because of any of those things. And those are all things you can’t change and place you in a cultural group.

You can and should be in favor of equality in the system and opportunities for people not in that group. And ALSO oppose oppression of white men through classism. That’s the difference between real men’s rights advocates and men who just try to use our problems to dismiss other people’s problems.

[–]Mistah_JB -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Y tho...

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You’re still in the dominant culture.

[–]UnhappyStore166 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The majority of homeless are men. The majority of suicides are men. The majority of war deaths are men.

[–]AcidKritana 84 points85 points86 points 3 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, they teach that kind of stuff, I can confirm it too. They taught us that (or at least tried to, in my case) that the men who went to work wasting away their lives lazing around oppressed women. They taught feminism. And while they taught that women could also sexually violate men and that it was not ok in my school in the freshmen year of high school (I just turned 18 this year and I finished high school last year so some context of when this happened), they only (and barely, one video) focused on male abusers for male victims of abuse, while the other 99% was on female victims of male abusers. I tried to argue and was called a sexist misogynist pig basically. Fun fact, people get more mad at you when you're on a zoom class rather than in actual class.

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 60 points61 points62 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

And they wonder why boys age 12 already know the deck is stacked against them in society from the sexist and misandric indoctrination they receive in class in elementary school. (Reddit still flags "misandric" as a spelling error.

Webster dictionary definition of misandry. How long until Reddit updates their spell checker?

[–]AcidKritana 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Definitely agree. Schools and History are written for women and to demonize men. The history books do this btw. Don't let feminists lie to you. Ever since elementary was happening....

[+]Mistah_JB -7 points-6 points-5 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Wow. U missed so many lessons

[–]AcidKritana 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nope, I love to learn, correction. Too bad they do not actually teach nowadays.

[–]chill_stoner_0604 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This person legit said that Japan wasn't in WW2 in another comment. I wouldn't waste the Brain cells on them

[–]MBV-09-C 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It might be because people just use "misandrist" as both a noun to describe the hateful people and also as an adjective to describe things that are discriminatory against men.

I don't think "misandric" was ever used outside of some of us just kind of assuming that's what the adjective form would transform into, since I've also seen people say "misandristic" as well.

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's in the more modern "Wiktionary" https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/misandric

[–]MelkorHimself 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I tried to argue and was called a sexist misogynist pig basically. Fun fact, people get more mad at you when you're on a zoom class rather than in actual class.

What you learned (as do many men) is that directly fighting this juggernaut only results in ridicule and you being made an outcast. You definitely don't want to try that at work. There are two ways you can realistically fight back. The first way is in the voting booth, but that doesn't happen very often. The second way is to out-crazy the crazies. An illogical hive mind isn't swayed by reason or evidence. You have to play them by their own rules to show how ridiculous they are (AKA malicious compliance).

[–]HikuroMishiro 56 points57 points58 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yep, unfortunately 'schools' have just been expensive indoctrination centers for some time now.

[–]Phantombiceps 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I disagree, Indoctrination is about ideology - there’s none here. This is just some sick sport, some cult fantasy without the cult ( where’s the leader?). There is no infrastructure, there is no coherent theory or ideology or even national groups to recruit the kids into.

Just say you’re a woman, then you’re in the clear. According to them There are literally no standards for what makes a woman; it is anything and anyone that says it’s one.

That's what I think will happen in the future. All men will just identify as anything other than males..

[–]themostgianthorse 19 points20 points21 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s not just school.

I had to attend a “diversity meeting” at work a few years ago. I was understandably not excited about it but dialed in because it was strongly encouraged (corporate speak for required).

The first guy who speaks says something to the effect of “I’m an ally and am ashamed to be a white male.”

I promptly called my boss’ cell phone as she was also on the conference call to let her know I would not be attending these any longer.

[–]centaursg 18 points19 points20 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Horseshit. Wtf is this! Racism can only happen with the people of color? I have seen racism from blacks, whites, Asians, other ethnicities..

It's just bugging me that cis-generism and heterosexism is not against CIS/Hetero people. Have I misunderstood an acronym somewhere or did the naming scheme inexplicably change for these two?

[–]iGhostEdd 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, it's true. If you're a white straight male you're literally against any black lesbian female.

I fall firmly in the 'Latino' category and I think that definition of racism is wrong as I constantly see racism against my white and asian fellow men. But we minorities are also to blame because we don't denounce this, because this positive racism is advantageous to many of us.

This sistem is disabled, by the way did you notice how they put themselves in the dominant group? It's like they still don't know what the definition of racism and sexism is to the point that Google says it's "mostly against women" or something like that. They are too disabled to realize that sexism and racism is not a one way road but it goes from both ways

[–]Swingstar731 13 points14 points15 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a white guy that has been horribly abused and legally discriminated against and is homeless and everything, I agree with the comments here.

What school or course is this, if you don't mind my asking? I would like to post this to everydaymisandry as an example of the way that sexism against men gets systematically defined out of existence within academia.

[–]TFME1 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're perfectly willing to turn an entire demographic groups into some monolithic "dominant cultural group", as a collective, even as they weep, cry, stomp their feet and scream at the sky that they're "nOt a MonOlItHiC GrOuP!" and we must "ReSpEcT mY InDiViduAliTy!" Effing hypocritical morons.

What does the *** stand for?

[–]MBV-09-C 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The Imgur thumbnails almost always cut parts of the pictures off, if you go to the image link, it shows that *** is a footnote that just describes that "cisgender" means someone that identifies their gender as the sex they were born as.

[–]bfte2 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

But wouldn't you put the asterisks right after the word, instead behind a comma?

[–]MBV-09-C 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Honestly, there's plenty wrong enough with what the school's written on that page already, I don't really think a potential grammar mistake is the worthwhile takeaway from this.

[–]bfte2 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just makes it more obvious what kind of moron wrote that.

[–]MBV-09-C 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Apparently I'm like the second biggest threat to peace on earth to those idiots. Alright, fine, they want to demonize me into some mad tyrant? I'll play the part. Just give me time to go organize my toilet into a throne, fashion an old towel into a cape and tape some empty paper towel rolls to a colander for my crown.

Fear my mighty 2-bedroom apartment castle surrounded by a railroad, a dockyard, and a busy highway all located in a ghetto neighborhood! Mwahahaha!

Oh...

TL;DR If you’re part of many out-groups, you’ll absolutely face a lot of discrimination and exclusion. No sane person disagrees with that. But just because you’re part of two in-groups (male and white), that doesn’t preclude you from being part of various out-groups that hold you down significantly.

The problem I have with the way they discuss discrimination against all these groups, is that they act like white males never have any problems. Furthermore, it’s stated that all white males perpetuate discrimination against all groups by default, simply by existing.

They totally alienate and exclude guys like me. What about white males who grew up poor, drug addict parents, rural area with poor education, limited job availabilities, no family support, autism, etc. The language they use is bullshit. A black American woman who comes from a loving family with even middle class money and support has it 10x better than guys like me, yet the language that’s often used suggests that this hypothetical woman still somehow has it way worse than me.

THIS is why they alienate so many people. There absolutely should be attention drawn to equality and the way different people encounter discrimination and problems. But they way it’s presented is total bullshit.

I attended an equity training course recently that was actually really well done. They used the term in-group and out-group, and it did a good job of showing how each factor contributed to a person’s status and likelihood to experience problems or discrimination. Education, socioeconomic status, religion, rural vs urban, income, country of origin, family support, mental health and disability, etc were all part of the equation. It proved that guys like me as I described above have it worse than women who have a good life.

But instead of including everyone and the problems they face, most of the time when people are talking about these issues, it’s like man=bad and nobody bats an eye. Being part of one or two in-groups doesn’t mean you can’t simultaneously be part of 15 out-groups.

"Christian". It's starting. If left unchecked, this will result in the slaughter of christians being practiced in America. They're trying to paint us as an enemy

[–]Miclash013 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

While I don't believe in any religion, (became an atheist a while ago) theres no reason you should denouce the people following a religion because said religion has a bad rep.

This is blatantly racist, sexist, heterophobic, all the rest of the -ists.

[–]Ravore 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oppression can never end. It’s part of the species that’s why there’s so many examples. For someone to be on top someone has to be on the bottom

Whey do I hear this dualistic 2 dimensional comments of the flatland when the answer is in the triadic 3 dimensional Of TIME--SPACE-thought. Thought (static) or ( one frame)--Thinking (dynamic) or (movement in time)--Knowledge (memory) in (past--present--future) of (creation--existence--extinction) to solve the needs of mankind. The power triad now is absolute power without any regard to human life. What is needed is the pure Triad of equal sides and angles, so every thing is equal, instead of a half effort, that is of a danger. Like greed, wrong use of money that is fragmented for other people or things.

Uhh this isn't education. 🤨 It's indoctrination filled with prejudice that will build division and hate in our next generation. Disgusting that they are teaching the opinion of someone with a miserable woke mindset like it's factual. It's somehow amusing how blatant the paper is wth.

[–]Detective_Stupid 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Can you please post the full page or link? Also can you elaborate on where it is/what school? Any additional info is appreciated.

I believe this is the state of education, but it's hard to tell if you typed this yourself

Is there a developed country where "dominant people" who pay the most tax money, are not discrimjnated against?

In short, where should I live if I happen to be "unlucky" enough to be born into these dominant groups?

[–]Proof-Examination574 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Pretty much any Buddhist country doesn't give a rat's ass about all this stuff.

[–]ChadWolf98 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well can you recommend a buddhist developed country?

[–]Proof-Examination574 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bali is also pretty good. Cambodia, Thailand, Burma (Myanmar), Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Laos and MongoliaSeven countries have Buddhist majorities: Cambodia, Thailand, Burma (Myanmar), Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Laos and Mongolia.

[–]TheBigBootyTheory 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is actual white supremacy. "Dominant culture" is a unique way of saying "submissive cultures"

[–]gamerlololdude -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Where does it say this? I think you are misinterpreting what is being explained.

can perpetuate. it is something that is easier to do due to being in the dominant culture. Also this is specific to US. Like Christians can get shit on in Middle East. But in US the chance that a Christian view will take precedence over a Buddhist is likely.

Transgender men can also experience sexism. Heck intersex people can experience sexism.

Notice what “targeted groups” means. There was a time when black people were targeted because black and there is still relics of this. There was a time when women were targeted because women and there is still relics of this. Like the anti-semitism and anti-arabism was targeting them purely based on ethnicity. when you had women targeted for their genital shape/whatever flagged them as womanly that is what this is talking about. Nearly on the level of from a luck of a draw groups were chosen to get shit on.

Here watch this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d_SYW1ElDb8&list=LL&index=3&t=2268s

Debate/disprove/ask anything about it if it doesn’t make sense.

There are different concepts. like what male privilege means is very specific to the building of western society from a patriarchal assumption. but just because the hard power disappeared doesn’t mean soft power is resolved.

where the fuck is the source on these types of random posts?

for real it’s some shitty cropped paper - why aren’t posts like these met with more criticism ??

[–]xUnlmtdTTV 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Simple. Bc every other sub that would be in favor of what's on that paper, wouldn't care about its source. So why should it be cared about here?

[–]A9SteakSauce -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That type of mindset makes us just as bad as the dogshit TwoX and AskFem posts i read daily

we already deal with tons of stereotypes and bad-faith assumptions, i personally just see that these types of posts add to it.

[–]xUnlmtdTTV 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I mostly agree with you. I do. But with the amount of fake dogshit that's pumped out on those subs to get people all riled up, it has to be met with some form of a counter.

Those subs aren't verifying stories or sources and take everything posted as fact. If we took the time to verify everything, we'd still have the same outrage, and they'd still say we're lying and making things up.

We know shit like this is 100% being taught. As a college student myself, I see it in my classes and readings, so whether or not this particular document is real, it's still a reminder that shit like this is being pushed on students in liberal states.

[–]A9SteakSauce -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a college student who sat through an ethics class with a professor literally yelling at all the male students “Stop raping women, if all men were extinct there would be no crime,” I know exactly what you mean.

Not much we can do but fight back and hope MSM picks us up someday is how i see it

[+]dan-theman -10 points-9 points-8 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I am going to get downvotes first this, but that is not what this says. It is only saying that you can either help other being oppressed or you are part of the problem. It is not saying that prejudice and discrimination can not be directed at you too.

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Here, have a downvote, because that paper most assuredly defines and denotes a very anti male position.

[–]vwatchrepair 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Anyone with an IQ above room temp knows you can speak volumes by NOT saying something. Just like lying by omission is a thing.

"Dominant culture"

[–]AcadiaLegal6386 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There’s tooo many terms now a days it’s so confusing.

[–]Archangel1313 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This definition only applies to systemic discrimination. That particular definition never includes personal/individual discrimination. Different types of discrimination have different definitions.

(Edit: systemic discrimination is also referred to as institutional discrimination)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So...I can only be an oppressor because I just happen to have been born white, male, and able-bodied, and was raised as a Christian in a fairly wealthy family, and am cis-gender and straight? Sounds off to me.

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow. Are you a student? Can you bring this up in class?

[–]Budget_Still_4005 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wouldn't heterosexism be discrimination against heterosexual people? Why are so many of these backwards?

Also who else thinks adultism was put in there for the pedos?

Weird, I homeschool my son and teach him about red pill, the sisterhood uber alles, gynocentrism, misandry, and masculinity. Good to know what his competition looks like,

At least they are inclusive: People = Women AND Men.

Some of the other listed is just pure crap.
