From what I’ve seen short women are more heightist than taller women (5’9+). Seeing this early in dating life (I’m 5’8), I started dating taller women. typically I was able to date a beautiful (model type) person that was more cool and down to earth because they were more self-conscious due to their height and not a lot of men were confident enough to go up to them.

Let’s be honest they are all between 5’9 and 6’. It’s not like I wouldn’t date taller just don’t really meet a 6’1+ woman unless you’re going to basketball and volleyball games to get dates.

Those questions aren’t the same thing. On the surface they appear that it’s a double standard but height is not something someone can control. Weight is. BUT which is worse? Discrimination because of a partner’s height is like discrimination about skin color. They are both genetic and meaningless measurements of who a person is. Weight problems however can be an indicator of a lack of impulse control, emotional instability, poor health, etc.

Height, weight, looks they all matter. I find it odd that people are supposed to pretend like they want a partner they're not attracted to when almost all of us do. It's not the popular opinion but love and adoration is cheap, or else more ugly people would be loved and popular. That said, it's pretty unbecoming when someone wears this mentality on their sleeve.
