I'm not gonna be a hypocrite and pretend I have passed up the opportunity to have sex at 14. Sexual content was and still is broadcasted through many mediums and teenagers soak it in. Do you know how many songs and tv shows containing sexual themes and images are accesible to teens? I knew what sex was by age 12 and I grew up when the internet was just taking off. And with the way technology has come and how easy it is to access pornography I imagine kids are finding out about this stuff from a younger age.

I find it funny when adults are shocked about teen sex, it's alot more common than you think. I'm not saying it's ok or a good thing because it is not. But it happens and there's not much parents can do about it. Parents can try to educate their children about the negative outcomes from teen sex, more commonly pregnancy and std's. They also can monitor who their kids speak to at home or online, but keep in mind that you're not with your kids 24/7. So all you can hope for is that your teen says "no" when sex is introduced.

There is a lot of discussion about the moral wrongdoing vs penalty in regards to whether or not the young boys were victims or not. What is undeniable to me however is that the daughters were clearly victims here.
