Makes sense that feminist/SJWs overlap with left wing economic policies because the biggest losers who pay the bills in a social welfare system are middle class men, while the biggest winners are women.

Women get all the economic security and education possibilities while having relatively low income taxes because they can date wealthier men and do not need to earn above average. These women will then live much longer than men on average and thus enjoy eldercare and pensions more than men. It is a win win for women, while for men it is only beneficial if you are a low earner.

In general, the more leftwards someone's politics, the more likely they are to be sexist and misandrist. But that does not apply at an individual level. There are many strong left-thinking men and women active in the wider men's movement.

The same applies with the extreme right, too. They are more generally likely to pander to women and ignore men but there are individual exceptions.

If you look closely at Reddit's rules, you'll find women are a protected class but men are not. Similarly, with race, being white is not protected, so you can make all the white racial slurs you want but making other slurs could get you in trouble. You can say whatever you want against men with no repercussions. The reverse gets you banned so most of those guys don't use Reddit anymore and either gotten off forums, or moved elsewhere. That's my explanation for the 100x activity and members. In most wester countries, guys seem to mostly just try to keep their head down and stay out of trouble.

South Korea seems to have a more active mens movement.

I have refused to work for a client because of how she talked to me because I'm a man. I then checked her Instagram and yeah it was full of man hate. She was so rude and horrible I just told her she was too much hard work and it wasn't worth my time.

It depends where you're from. In America people are convinced it's the left pushing this shit, but in the UK and Australia it's been far right parties, and their supporters, pushing the agenda for over a decade.

Also, I think it's important to note that it's only the left on most countries fighting for men's rights, safer working conditions, proper time off, liveable wages, a weekend (all the products of the labour movement), while the right are all about mass incarceration and continuing genital mutilation.

Think of gender roles. Lets say men are metaphorically speaking a punching bag. Women swing at us and hit us all day every day and we take it. At the end of the day the punching bag is fine while the person hitting us is sore and tired and walks away.

The change is we are telling them that we are not in the mood to be hit by them and that they need to go find a new hobby. And that's when they blow a gasket because we are no longer voluntarily playing the role of the punching bag. "A real man would let me hurt him all day and take it and keep his mouth shut about it"

So they're complaining about how men don't want to take their crap. and good men shrug their shoulders and go invest in themselves and do something constructive.

Social justice politics is an evil movement because it removes due process, legal protections, and punches down on the common man because we all know they can't touch people with actual wealth and power.

I don't see these people as leftists, because I don't associate them with other leftist goals: like providing healthcare, preventing environmental calamity, or addressing wealth inequality, or improving policing.

I see them as people who act in bad faith, "activists" that want to make a quick buck with their claims of male toxicity and violence. Or higher up, the corporate democrats who appease them by repealing legal protections for the accused, so they can get away with not addressing systemic economic issues.

Hurting men politically is an easy way for the swamp ghouls to keep their street cred while they profit off insider trading and kickbacks.

I don't even think of myself as a leftist anymore, I just wish human lives had meaningful value, including men who are accused, men who are divorced, men who are treated badly by society because they're the wrong gender at the wrong time.

I don't know where an MRA should be politically but I think the right-left debate is a trap that's best avoided.

Replying to my own OP to address a couple things in comments.

I believe there is blatant agenda $$$ poured into all forms of social media on all topics and on all sides. I do think its more prevalent on the left, but likely only because the left tends to be more suited towards younger gens who are primary users. If you doubt the prevalence, I can show multiple accounts I called out in random subs. More importantly, form your own opinion and be aware, and question shit.
There is an entire market for fake social media accounts. This is non-debatable. I used to get banned or called a conspiracist for even touching on the idea of it, years before Musk called it out. You can google it for yourself. Acc's < 1 yr old are cheap, and even 1000 of the most expensive accounts would cost $millions$ less than typical media outlets, with potential for even wider reach.
I don't care to get into sides on shit unless its constructive. Imo, there should not be a side on almost all social agenda shit and middle ground that acknowledges validity of both sides exists for all topics, from abortion to gun rights. Social media, group think, echo chambers, and an engineered and intentional attempt to be divisive in media just exasperates the reality of subjective topics, while keeping those who lack critical thinking lost and simple minded.

I find women on the right to hold extremely sexist views of men. “All men are pigs” is something I heard from republican women In Mississippi when I lived there. They also would talk about how boys were naturally dirty and their little princess girls just loved dressing up for beauty pageants. Gender essentialism was very very common in Mississippi.

Never heard a woman in Chicago say all men are pigs.

I've always found women on the right to be more sexist because they demand you pay for things, play games pretending to be celibate, and generally use men for their resources. All the left wing women I've dated go out of their way to make sure things are equitable and fair.
