Something I have observed from personal life, talking to people in bars, content online, and things of that nature. I want to see what your thoughts and opinions are on this. I know this doesn't ring true for everyone, but I am curious how true this is.

Women:

When women are in relationships, it seems like they are hornier than the guy and want to have sex as often as possible. Men can be tired and want to go to sleep and then woman would want to have sex. A man could have just gotten home from work and want to relax and the woman will want to have sex. Things like that.

While women are out of relationships, they don't seem to want sex that much. Now, don't get me wrong, women will hook up and could have friends with benefits relationships but women can generally go a long time without having sex.

Men:

When men aren't in relationships, it seems like they are on the prowl for sex. The average single man doesn't get a lot of sex, so when he can get sex and he has access to women who want sex, he is always in the mood for sex.

When men are in relationships and the access to sex is always there, it seems like men doesn't want to have sex all the time. Of course men will have sex with their partner often, but it seems like the thrill of the chase of sex and having easy access 24/7 makes men want to have sex a bit less than when they were single.

Is there any truth to this?
