I’ve heard multiple women say that they are prone to thinking something is wrong with a guy, or that he’s lame, if he’s not talking to/hooking up with other women.

This kinda goes back to the idea that women are attracted to men that other women want. They want a guy who has other options, but picks her. So how true is it? After all, we’ve all heard the anecdotes about the guys who suddenly get noticeably more attention when they’re married or in a relationship, yet when they’re single, which is also coincidentally when they probably want the attention the most, they hardly get any of it.

Quick little story - I had a FWB one time who was super hot, and she was regularly going on dates while we were hooking up. She would always encourage me to get on the dating apps and play the field. When I would tell her that I’m satisfied with my current situation (as in me only hooking up with her), I noticed her face and body language take on this look as though her internal monologue was saying, “wtf is wrong with you?”
