I've been in discussions about body parts/shapes with girls that were good friends and I've complimented the boob shapes of my friends.

the fact that you choose to sexualize a body part does not make it's purpose change and people can sexualize lots of different parts (ex: foot fetish)

2. why do you need to compliment a body part? can't you compliment something about the person instead?

anytime you are picking out a part of a person and seeing it as sexual, then complimenting it, it will come off as sexual and likely be unwelcome if you don't have an established relationship

it comes down to the fact that people don't like to be objectified
