Gotta have standards beyond looks.

I see so many of my guy friend's fall into the hot girl simp trap.

What I mean by standards beyond looks, you guys gotta be ready to ask the hard questions, figure out a woman's intentions, and if it's not what you want, you gotta say bye and book it. The more time you invest in dry or flaky women, the more time you are losing talking to girls who could improve your game and actually want to meet up.

Example. Girl just my type and I match on tinder. I hit her with a comment on one of her posters and we chat. I get the insta, I talk about setting up coffee, shes chatty but a little non committal. Not pushing conversation too much but not letting it die everytime either. So we've sent like 10 msgs, I bring up coffee again. She brings up that places are closed, I tell her, I was thinking walk in the park, or if ur more comfortable, lets do a facetime. (I find this shows, Im not looking JUST to hit it and quit it, which is true, dont need a relationship but I like long term fun) and she just doesnt respond to that part, so i call her out lightly obviously, she actually apologizes and says shes not used to talkking to ppl on dating apps. ok, so I'm not trying to waste my time, so I ask her, what shes looking for. She says she was bored not looking to date. So ofc, My eyes are rolling in real life. Its a fucking dating app ppl, get ur validation somewhere else. If ur not even down to meet up or facetime ppl why r u even matching with ppl.

I give her the no worries, best of luck and a peace sign.

And this girl fucking messages me 10 min later, asking why I have to be a dick and unfollow?

Im like what? We met on a dating app, you don't want to even go on a date, I said ok and i left. Why are you mad at me?

Im sure the guys here can attest. This shit isn't new. This girl even superliked me. And still pulled this shit. Could have been an accident but w.e.

Thing is, that interaction was a waste of 30 min. But it was 30 min. It wasnt three weeks of wondering. It was 30 min. Could I have gotten a better reaction playing it out. Sure, but that girl is an adult. And she told me her intentions were opposite of mine when asked, Im gonna take her word for it and move on.

Its easy to focus on the negatives and the bad apples in dating cuz they're gonna be alot. But its 30 minutes. Trust me, being direct about dates isn't gonna scare away a girl whos gonna want to go out with you. Dont waste ur time fellas.
