Stop, point your finger at her and say, "You! Come here. Let's dance" If she notices you, grab her hand and pull her in close, start dancing + touching her body. If she doesn't notice you and turns away, don't chase after her, go back to dancing and try again on another girl in a bit.

Important to dos: - Make strong eye contact - plant your feet, stand tall, confident and open body language - smile😊😊😊

Important DO NOTS: - do not grab a girl from behind - do not look away half way through your opener

You should have a high success rate with this move. It's hard to explain exactly how to do it over the Internet but go practice it a few times and I'm sure you will get the hang of it

I'm weak at this so I've been going out and just observing a lot. Here's what I've seen:

I just dance for me. Just having fun. This means I have space around me to dance.
Women/groups of women see that and like it, so they gravitate toward me pretty often.
Creeps will flock all around women and just start grinding all over them and they immediately get hard rejected (unless the girl is just super wasted). Be the guy out having fun, good physical posture, looking around, smiling, etc. and women will notice and gravitate toward you to avoid creeps.
If a woman is interested in dancing with a guy, she will make obvious eye contact and gravitate toward him and there is a very small window of opportunity to make a move there. If you don't make a move, she will move on quickly and that's probably it.
Women are not subtle on the dance floor. They will make shit obvious. They may may try to get you to make a move by moving right over to you quickly and obviously. They may just say fuck off with a big shake of the finger. Or if they are into it they may walk by and run their finger across your chest. They will just kiss your cheek out of nowhere. They will make faces. They will make opportunities for you. If you aren't seeing these then they probably are just out to have fun and don't want to be creeped on or they probably aren't going to just fuck a guy because they danced with him for 20 minutes. Other types of game will be necessary or may be fruitless altogether if you aren't getting obvious signs. And always take into consideration the influence of alcohol and drugs on the dance floor...she may go cold at any minute so don't sweat it.
If a woman decides she wants me to dance with her (and shows me per the stuff I mentioned above) but I don't make a move because I'm not interested in her club-rat ass, she will often proceed to make a bitch face and do ridiculous shit to make sure I notice how butthurt she is. It's hilarious.
If you do get in with a chick and the dancing is going well, don't blow it by talking. Just fucking dance. If she wants to talk she'll talk (big generalization obviously, but good foundational point)
I have also seen some guys who basically pull the "I'm the man of your dreams and there is nobody else in the room but us" scenario, where he just keeps trying and trying and trying to get this chick to dance with him no matter what a fool he makes of himself, and I've seen it completely work. He is the guy who is smiling, reaching out the hand, spinning, doing all the shit the other posters are saying. I've done that stuff too at house parties and it definitely has gotten me laid. I was literally blown away by this one dude at an "emo dance night". He fought for this chick ALL NIGHT. This chick was a ten and her friends were cock blocking this guy so hard. And the ten was putting up so much resistance it was crazy, but she had just that slight smile. Like an hour or two later though...damned if they weren't making out on the dance floor and then holding hands after last call. Bravo sir.

Just some general things I've noticed. I've seen a lot of guys do these things and pull off some amazing shit so I roll with it too. Wish me luck. I still suck at getting laid from dancing but figured my time is worth sharing.

EDIT: To clarify, this is in a club setting where there is a DJ playing electronic or club hits and the dance floor is full and everyone is sweaty and packed in. Not a piano bar or blues club. Totally different rules there. If you're into that stuff, just go to some beginner dance classes. Seriously, they're fun as hell.

This is what I do

1) Eye contact with every girl in the club. If she likes eyes with me or smiles, that's a free pass to approach. Sometimes I'll just walk around making funny faces and see who notices. If a girl smiles at me, I'm approaching.

2) I walk up to them and say confidently and smoothly "Hi, I'm Woujo, let's dance." Some people disagree with the verbal opening and say just start dancing without saying anything. I don't like this method because my goal isn't to dance, it's to create an emotional connection that can lead somewhere further. A lot of girls just go out to dance with guys - I don't want that, I want something more. By introducing yourself and creating some type of verbal interaction, you're forcing her to take you seriously as a potential partner and not just a random guy in the club.

I hate to say this, but I'm a pretty good looking guy so I have girls "hitting" on me a lot. They'll grab my ass, or grab my tie, or touch me, or whatever. I usually ignore this stuff because these girls aren't really down to fuck. If girls do that I will try to introduce myself. A lot of times they scurry away because they weren't really trying to have an interaction - they were just trying to be silly. Introducing yourself weeds out the bullshitters from the real ones.

That's just my opinion. Do it how you want. I just don't want to waste my time dancing with a girl that won't even talk to me. For all I know she's there with her boyfriend.

If the songs are up beat and there's a lot of lyrics being sung, and if it happens to be your jam and know all the lyrics, just sing a long have a good time, and try to lock eyes with girls during peak moments of the lyrics. Eventually youll find someone as passionate as you about the song and sing to each other. Then you can introduce yourself casually since the vibes are good.

Either make yourself noticeable, face them and dance with them, or you can twirl/spin them @ intro, do a funny dance maneuver... or you just do the lazy way and just grab their hand (I do this allllll the time) :)

PS: Dance floor game is my specialty :)

btw theres several aspect to dance floor game people don't discuss enough. Like if me and you were in a club and you and I both tried the hand grab to every girl @ at the same time and you saw every single girl that I grabbed her hand said yes... you might be confused (if you were not getting all "yes 100%").

That wouldn't be because my hand is smoother or I'm better looking, sometimes I go out on the dance floor and go wild. I have A LOT of fun and girls always start noticing. If I'm vibing well, I enter Approach All Mode and once I've danced with like 4-5 girls, every OTHER GIRL after that always says YES and they even start approaching me nonstop. Even groups of girls start sending their girl at me. And she will laugh and giggle and jump into me while he friends are all watching.

What I'm getting at is that you can develop a "reputation" on each dance floor. Girls are ALWAYS paying attention and if you are the "fun" one, they NOTICE YOU & they don't reject you on the dance floor. Even if they have a boyfriend right there they don't reject me while I'm vibing well. They just end it shortly before I go sexual. (this is their version of using the attractive dance floor guy(me) to raise their own SMV with their boyfriend if hes right there watching). I have noticed it often and its a very mutual agreement cause I always love to dance and she raises my SMV for other girls around.

What I'm getting at, is that dance floor game can be like going down a hill. Once you start, gravity can take over and suddenly it becomes ridiculously easy. The trick isn't dancing GOOD. Its 100% about having fun on the dance floor. So, stopping worrying about "how to" approach. Go out there, dance like crazy, have fun, DONT HESITATE and just reach out and start grabbing their hands. Once you get a few yes's you'll get drunk on happiness and start doing random shit that comes to mind. The worst they'll do is pull their hand away. GL Bruv

Hmm, dearth of comments here. This is actually my preferred game at night and I've done it hundreds and hundreds of times.

Best way: Make sure she sees you first, directly or in her peripheral, or whatever. This is not absolutely necessary, but it makes the approach less creepy, also can give you an early signal if you she's receptive or not.

There's a few different ways to approach. Usually the best ways are as follows:

You somehow lock eye contact before you approach, and she maintains eye contact (as you should be doing) - usually this means she likes you. She might even smile. When this happens you have to immediately go up to her, and take her hand to start dancing (I usually start with a spin, I don't know).
Just walk right up to her, in clear fashion, extend your arm out or (riskier) gently take her hand and try to spin her, of course most of the work is hers so you'll find out right away if she's open. This beats any timid approach, though it may be more obvious to those around you if you get rejected. Ah well.

Not recommended, though YMMV: "Asking" someone to dance, or opening vocally at all on the dance floor. It's just too hard, and comes across as timid. People are trying to dance here, not shout at each other. Of course, if you are trying to get the girl at the bar to join you on the dance floor, speaking is perfectly natural.

Defineatly the most important thing is to accept how overwealming the situation is. If you try to speculate wether or not the girl is into you - it would give you a really bad time. Best thing you can do is assune that she already likes you and approach.
Now, how do you approach? The opener itself is not as relevant as the intensity. Remember that you are thete to have as much fun as possible and invite the girl to have fun with you. Do not hesitate (that would be creepy) or half-ass the aproach.
As mentioned, the environment could so easily overwhealm you. Best advice I can give you is to accept it and go with it as you approach. This video would help you a lot with that. Good luck!

Ok I have a question.... I have a new gf and she likes to drink some and go dancing. The bump and grind kind. I've never danced or been danced on. I listened to metal growing up and the closest thing to dancing I've done is be in a pit. Wtf am I supposed to do while she's grinding on me. Where do my hands go? Am I supposed to grind back? So just in case your nervous on the approach, I would recommend the sweet spot of being drunk.

Not drunk enough to start being a little dizzy Not sober enough to notice your own insecurities. Usually its around 0.07 BAC (at least for me)

At this point you stop asking yourself these kinds of questions and start having a good time. Obviously, this doesn't work for everyone but from my experience but it works out for me a lot of the time.

I am of the "don't give a fuck camp" where if you stop caring and focus on yourself and the fun that your having you'll attract a mate without much trouble.

I would wager this for your specific point though. Every girl at the club wants to be approached by at least one or two guys that they have their eye on. That's why the club exists in the first place.

edit: 0.7 would kill you 0.07 is right under DUI level
