Male, 27. Just seen a viral Instagram reel that says “Control your lust & you’ll understand how boring 90% of women are”. So, in addition to that, I’ll give a brief personal report and then ask a general question.

Firstly, regarding nightclubs… People who regularly go to parties know that not every person flirts the same way. Actually, women that are interested in a man can act differently. Of course there are biological patterns, but almost every one of them can be increased or decreased by the person’s subjectivity.

So, basically, for some years now I’ve been kinda giving up on women mid-interaction. Considering a woman is already giving clear signs that she’s interested in me, unless she makes it 100% easy for me, I will much likely find her kind of boring and give up on picking her up. In another scenario where a woman — who is also clearly demonstrating interest — is shy or isn’t familiar with flirting, I won’t escalate the interaction either, because it will demand a higher effort on my part. This will probably sound cocky, but I have many good romantic options, so I don’t feel like making effort to picking up girls anymore. If I feel the girl is interested but I still have to “work” for it a little bit, I’ll much likely lose interest and begin to treat her as a friend.

Secondly, this applies to other social circumstances also, including s3x or even DM’ing girls on instagram. My social “status” is not exactly very high yet, but I do have good romantic options, so pretty much I don’t feel like playing the masculine “chaser” role anymore.

Do yall think men who are in my position are a—holes for giving up too easily on women and not keeping up with the traditional “chaser” masculine role? Does this phenomenon contribute or deteriorate the current state of relationships? Are high status men becoming capable to seeing how boring women are? Are women boring, to begin with? What do you guys and girls think about it?

(I addressed this to the RedPill community since they are down to earth and don’t easily get offended ; also, I’m brazilian, so my english can sometimes sound more harsh than I actually mean). Thank you.
