this sub is filled with preudo gurus selling and monetizing their content, clueless guys asking for advice, people giving the most generic advice that leads nowhere, there is the ocasional post that is worth reading lol ; but its a a real tragedy.

Nope. That's a logical fallacy called "appeal to authority".

You should evaluate advice based on how true it is. Not who gave it. Lots of experienced people, like myself, can give really bad advice from time to time. And if I do that i need to be called out - not just trusted because I'm "experienced".

On the opposite end, a beginner might have discovered something new that helped him reduce his approach anxiety for example. Even if he is a virgin - he has shared valuable insights for those who are at that level.

Just don't lie. For example: Don't tell people that you how they can get threesomes when you have never gotten one yourself.

This sub is a very watered down version of the OG pickup forums. When reference is made to ideas that are tried and tested you can have a decent discussion. Or when people talk about real experiences. When someone comes in thinking they reinvented the wheel and are theory guys pretending their in the field then it's just cringe.

A good idea, but it wouldn't change much. Just because someone is good at picking up women doesn't automatically mean that they are also a good teacher. Game is also something very individual. There is no one method that works equally well for everyone. A lot of the classic pick up ideologies like push pull, negging and the other borderline methods of manipulation are against my character. That's why I'll never be good at it. Things like getting out of the comfort zone, socializing more and working on body language have helped me a lot. In the end, everyone has to find their way. You have to find out which methods suit you.

I think it's a great idea, though a lot of people are going to be incentivized to lie. But it's probably better than nothing.

Back in the day you had a really small community who regularly met in the field to see who was the real deal, so you knew exactly who you were talking to and who could perform in real life. It was a relatively simple system, but one which unfortunately is going to be hard to replicate in the online sphere.

I have a pickup guide that I wrote that I hand out/give out for free to those want it. It's a culmination of over 10 years of experimentation and analysis of infield interactions. And it's the amalgamation of things that have worked well for me. Everyone that has read it has said it's completely changed thier game. So I think I'm qualified to comment about this topic.

wouldn't it be easier to just link like 5 pdfs to to the side bar? There's nothing posters here can add to what's already written by the 'experts' (and surely very well known by now! Even lots of random guys know about mysterymethod!)

So link 'models', 'mysterymethod' and 'The natrual' and then that's it. We all have the knowledge to basically score at will! (?) and shouldn't need to ask questions here mostly?

But the issue is that it doesn't really work lol. And that's why people are forever looking for new stuff after reading and applying the stuff in them books and dealing with too much rejection lol. (since there's really no such thing as 'attraction material', And 'game' is MASSIVELY overrated)

But yeah, if them books were all in the sidebar then i'm not sure we'd need this sub for 95% of the questions?

I don't know why we pretend this 'knowledge' is underground. It's mainstream at this point! ticktokers talk about all the 'seecret concepts' that people try to gateguard here!

everyone knows pushpull, negs, qualify, disqualify, kino, break rapport, cold reads!, dhv, self asmusement, relaxed body language, eye contact blablabla. The answer to this is really easy if you think of it critically. Just evaluate someone based on their incentives and needs, it will get you out of trouble in any domain of life, not just pickup. I'll explain using the pickup perspective.

The person who needs help wants good advice and guaidance. The person who is providing the advice wants your business. These are the incentives. Now lets think of it critically:

(1) If you are really good at pickup, you wont be here to give free advice.
(2) If the gurus have no financial incentive to provide you good advice, they will be doing something else.
(3) If you have no problems, you wont be here seeking advice.

Like I mean just draw it out on a supply to demand curve.

If you don't want to spend money, and want good advice, well you're out of luck. Because the good guys have no incentives to pull their hairs out to help you. Like I mean look at my earlier posts, I was not a "coach" yet back then, and my comment section was put on fire calling me a stupid twat! The experienced guys you want for free won't put up with this bullshit.

Well, okay then. Maybe you accept the fact that now you'd have to spend a little bit of money. Well, who should I spend it with? This answer can be easily answered by examining on their buisness model.

When paying for a course based model, you are absorbing all the downside. Because once the money is in the pocket, there is no incentive for the guru to help you. This is also why this is the cheapest option of them all, and due to the cheapnes, its where the predators sleep at night. One time lump sump payment, no reoccuring. Just have to convince you once, and as a result, heavy marketing. I mean just think about it.

One upping that is to pay per hour. Now this is better, because if the guru don't help you, you wont buy more of his hours. This then becomes a more expensive option, due to the incentives being more alligned. There is still a con however, because he is incentivized to spend more hours and squeeze more sessions out of you.

The best model I think is a retainer model. This alligns the incentives the best. You get the money and I get full access to the service. But the problem with this is that you must charge ridiculously high per month for it to work. Not a realistic model for most people, unless you're coaching rich people.

Doctors, financial advisors, accountants or whatever guru you want to evaluate - you can just evaluate them like this. Ask yourself, what is the carrot (incentives)? and what is the best way to allign both of your incentives. Thinking it this way will never get you conned again.

I have matured to a point where now I realize that nice things don't come for free. I pay generous bonuses to high performing employees. I buy branded high quality products. I'd rather pay for an hourly consultation rather than pay for performance. You can get nothing of value if you don't exchange it for another form of value.

Using this value to value logic, it is also the reason why the old pickup forums was a goldmine, exactly because everyones incentives was alligned. Everyone was a begineer figuring it out (even the coaches). Therefore, there was an incentive for everyone collectively to share and bounce valuable ideas with one another, everyone wins. Almost like a syndicate.

The days like that are over. The landscape has changed. In a way the begineers shoot themselves in the foot by critisizing so much, because when people do come and share their experience, they are met with so much skepticism that they will no longer feel the dopamine hit and pleasure of giving back to the community, removing all incentives to do so.

You can learn from anyone of all types of backgrounds. They may never experienced it but they probably saw someone going through it. " A Smart person learns from their mistakes, but a wise person learns from other mistakes" You don't always have to be experienced to share knowledge. I don't need to be a math teacher to say 2+2=4. But someone who doesn't know that answer can learn from me despite me never being a math teacher or claiming to be heavily experienced in math.
