I’m honestly not even sure what I could’ve been told to help me make better choices. I was pretty reckless with buying girls Plan B in high school without my parents knowing, although other people probably wouldn’t have guessed I’d be the type to make decisions that dumb. Also, women’s anatomy is still entirely a mystery to me to some extent. If some woman describes one activity as “more pleasurable than overwhelming”, and another as “more overwhelming than pleasurable”, I have no idea what to do with descriptions like that, and would probably benefit from women understanding themselves more. There are then things like periods that I wish I could help with, but I’m pretty sure even doctors struggle to fully understand which birth control methods have different kinds of effects, if a Mirena or pills don’t work to alleviate symptoms.
