A recurring question surfaces in politics, posed invariably by women, with a veneer of intellectual superiority.

“What, precisely, has that male politician done for you?”

The politician in question opposes abortion, rejects the prevailing orthodoxies of the credentialed female mind, and refuses to ritualistically denounce men as a form of moral respiration. To the contemporary university educated woman, product of four years immersed in curated grievance and symbolic analysis, he appears as some ancient caveman throwback, a specimen whose appeal should be confined to the cognitively impaired.

In her head, that question is a total mic drop moment. Her prepared rebuttal is already locked and loaded. Statistics, longitudinal studies, meta analyses demonstrating that the median dude who backs him is still stuck in the same rut. Broke as hell, lonely, no different from the guys who voted the same way last time around. In her internal ledger, the transaction is irrational. Men trade political loyalty for no material gain.

But here's where it gets really fascinating.

The fact that she's even asking that question shows a massive hole in how she sees the world. It starts with the assumption that political energy directed against women must, at its core, be a misguided attempt at male self improvement. The possibility that it is something simpler, something purer, does not register.

Even the most "woke" politicized cohort of women in recorded history, those explicitly trained in power dynamics, fail to recognize the phenomenon when it targets them.

You don't even need to dig that far into history books to prove the point. Movements have achieved extraordinary mobilization not by promising uplift to their own constituency, but by licensing sanctioned aggression toward a designated out group. The metric of success was never internal improvement. It was the visibility of damage inflicted upon the scapegoat. The constituency derived utility from the spectacle itself.

Politics, at its most elemental, is not about governance. It is about continuation. The optimal strategy is the one that minimizes cost while maximizing retention of power. Hatred is uniquely efficient. It requires no infrastructure, no budgetary allocation, no measurable deliverables. It is a renewable resource.

The math on this is simple and unstoppable. Every single year, more and more guys join the ranks of the totally screwed over crowd. Men with no stake in the existing order, no family obligations, no economic prospects, no residual investment in social stability, grows monotonically. For this cohort, stasis is already defeat. Improvement is optional, mutual destruction is sufficient.

A politician smart enough to target this growing army doesn't have to promise the moon. He need only credibly signal that women will bear disproportionate cost. That alone constitutes a deliverable. The voter extracts utility not from his own elevation, but from the calibrated reduction in female autonomy, security, and status. The worse her outcomes, the more complete his satisfaction.

This is optimized spite. It’s perfectly rational within the constraint set of perceived zero~sum conflict and absolute loss.

Women continue to ask the question because they cannot model a utility function in which their suffering is the primary good. They assume all political actors seek positive~sum advancement for their base. They have not yet processed that, for a growing male constituency, the highest realistic attainable good is negative~sum. Your loss, irrespective of my gain.

Politicians are sharks smelling blood. They chase whatever gets them the win.

They do not need to make men’s lives better.

All they need is to crank up the pain for women.

And trust me, they will.
