Up until I graduated from college I always believed women were primarily after money/status. Dating as a doctor would be like dating on God mode.

I was wrong.

I know numerous doctors now (I'm in my 30s) that have mediocre dating lives.

  1. Gotta worry about gold diggers, some guys don't even put they're doctors in their dating profiles

  2. You gotta be a total nerd to get into med school. Nerds are very unattractive.

  3. Social skills and life experience do not develop because you're always studying. These guys literally are graduating from school at age 30 and have personalities/confidence of guys 18-22

  4. Money and prestige are a boost but they're not huge. I mean it's nice, but it's not going to compensate for other factors.
