Why are incel/lookism posts/comments becoming common and allowed to stay up?

I think it's a trend we are seeing more and more. With women gaining financial stability, freedom from sexual repercussions (slut-shaming), the backing of a continuing feminized society, and exposure to more men (tinder and other apps), it forces them to be more pickier.

Women, especially young women, are now going after what they really care about, good-looking, fun guys.

it does seem like things have gotten slightly more lax around here since purge week, though.

As long as you do not use the word "incel" or "involuntary celibate" the posts are allowed. Most "change my view" posts are actually just rants or people telling you what they think you should do, but unfortunately they are effectively the same.

I think inceldom as a concept should be discussed here, as it's a normal part of relationship dynamics in many men - lots of men can't find women for sex or relationships and are therefore at least temporarily "incels." What I don't want to see is personal complaining, though.

Because you people spit /r/incels anytime someone says something misogynistic, dorky/gross, or that can be construed as those things. Its works the same way that it did with Redpill. Anytime you all wanted to insult people you would say "/r/redpill" or "go away redpiller" which of course would lead to people clicking on the sub you just linked/mentioned. Its free advertising that just leads to those places growing in numbers and their ideologies being spread. I have no idea how you all still haven't gotten that.

People are allowed to have their own opinion, there are plenty of BP 'lookism" in here that will never be swayed or even open to the ideas of purple let alone RP. You use a throwaway so your true position is never known, if changeability is a prerequisite then your account should be banned due to the fact that change is unknown.

That user is a woman so it’s actually not a woe-is-me post but I would agree she’s not really open to having her views changed (that being said, few CMV posts genuinely are).

I would also agree the incel posts are sort of coming back but idk how to address that really - where is the line? Almost any posts about looks/struggles of men can have an incely flavor.

There is only one rule PPD introduced to "combat incels", and that is #7: No "woe is me" Posts. The thread you linked to was removed, but from your tone of your post it doesn't seem to have been particularly woe-ish.

Aren't you just trying to corerce mods into deleting things you personally don't agree with?

I can't speak on the moderation because I'm not a moderator... but I think the posts themselves are common just because rant-y internet forums tend to attract people with the same mindsets that make them want to call themselves "incels" in the first place. People with decidedly non-incel views are actually outside doing things and talking to people.
