Don't egalitarian countries usually have population decline, though, at least when the population isn't replaced by immigration? I'm not saying that oppressive male sexuality is good, and much of that is created or enhanced by culture as well, but there is an evolutionary reason why the natural male sex drive uninfluenced by any cultural beliefs is the way that it is.

if this was the case we'd never have developed cultures based on monogamous relationships and families. I don't know if you're a woman but you're doing a pretty shitty job speaking for male sexuality. yeah we're wired to want to bang lots of hot women but we also fall in love relatively easily. rich and famous guys who have tons of hot women wanting to fuck them still opt to settle down with one who they really love. if the "male imperative" was just an endless stream of strange they'd never be tempted to.

Men who do these things seek power, because women choose to reproduce with powerful men. Women want war like men with high T to pass their genes on. If women didn't want that, they would punish powerful men by being sexually repulsed by them. But they're not, because that is biology and no amount of your blue pill worldview of what you wish things could be like will ever change that.

Women manipulate men into committing violence for them to gain resources. After women gained the right to vote, suddenly a few decades later the US is getting involved in a bunch of BS wars that we have no business being involved in. Women voted for those wars, and it wasn't until a few decades ago that men won the right to not be drafted to those wars. Even though we still have to register for the selective service in case they decide to re implement the draft.

Also, I think that oppression is a moral good and should be encouraged for the benefit of Chad's within our society and the conquering of other societies which is also a moral good.

The female sexual imperative to mate with as many male, preferably attractive ones, as possible is insatiable. The drive to protect offspring of strong men by the work of physically weaker but more intelligent men. Estrogen drives women to engage in a cold war of all against all, where the victors gain harems of hundreds or thousands of men and the losers are consigned to celibacy and engaging in subversion and trickery in order to trick women from neighboring tribes. Where culture and environment does not adequately restrain these impulses, men are oppressed and reduced to the status of second-class citizens or even chattel, working the mines so that women can stay home and not be endangered. The world would be a much better place for everyone if all women were not validation seekers , and willing to work and take responsibility for their actions. It is the intersection of biology and culture that has led to the oppression of men - an oppression that, with the advent of agriculture, has conquered nearly every corner of the globe.

Even if we say you're right and the male sex drive has been the cause of wars and genocides etc. You're missing the other side of the coin. The male sex drive is also the main bulk of what makes men risk their lives in wars to protect women and children, it's primarily what makes them pursue dangerous and/or stressful high-end careers. We have all this amazing technology basically because men throughout history have been trying to impress women and make them comfortable and happy (so they'll get laid).

I suspect that this isnt your real point of view, but if it is it is just more evidence that lots of people today need to get a grip. This "the belief that having sex makes you a better man, a stronger and more virile human being" seems to be something that has sprung up over the last 30 years or so, brought on by advertising industries looking for gullible people to rinse out of easy money.

Way too many people overvalue the ability to get sex at the moment, it's very worrying. Where I live in Asia, being able to get sex freely is more of an added bonus than making you The Big Man. Being a good family man and working hard both carry way more status.

I went from finding it difficult to get sex to finding it easy, and after a while of that I wouldnt even give up my lie in on Saturday mornings for it, let alone start a genocide.

Flight or fight is regulated by one branch of the nervous system, called sympathetic nervous system. Feed and breed, sexuality, is regulated by another branch, parasympathetic nervous system.
I don't know from where folks got the idea that violence is associated to sex for men in general but it is not. The shit is split in a organic level.

What you get conflict for doesn't fit well in that reduction you made, but to force a little bit it'd be "to make sure the supplies of food are accessible for themselves and their genetic payloads".

I personally believe some folks make this mess because they're so viscerally disconnected from their natural state and scarcity the only natural drives that manages to speak to them is fuck and they end up associating the very core of humanity with sex and gender. First world problems.

Let's start with saying that all that about a) how men have an imperative to mate with as many women as humanly possible and b) that men would go to obscene lengths to have sex are completely false. There's great variance in men's sexual desire: some are like what you describe, others want to mate some, others are asexual, etc. Also, there's, I'd argue, even more variance in what men would do for sex: some would kill, rape, etc, but quite a lot would only go up to lying about themselves to attract another person, and others wouldn't even do that, etc.

You can't argue that make sexuality is inherently oppressive, if there's all this variance, since the oppression you speak of is exhibited in very varying degrees by all of the possible men out there, and I'd even argue that a lot of men's sexuality isn't at all oppressive.

Now, if you deny the existence of all those men (which you seem to do, based on your post), I think either your sample is very skewed, or you're somehow blinded to the men around you.

And another thing: I don't believe biology pounds all those things into men. Biology adds some chemicals and a desire for sex (again, to varying degrees, there already are asexual men), but society does a lot of the work to try to convince people that real men are supposed to be oppressive. You could help men see that, or reject the men who don't, and end up in the company of men who are much less like that, and who potentially also agree that they shouldn't be sexually oppressive, even if society tells them to, to an extent.

I'll agree that society does, but how does biology tell this to males exclusively? The way I see it, both men and women have a sex drive which is meant to make us reproduce and keep the species going. Even people like me, who never want kids, have strong sex drives.

Exactly how many women in first world countries actually fear being raped in their normal, daily lives? What other freedoms would we have that we don't have already?
