This guy in the post above, claims that he and this girl were best friends for 10 years and she is like a sister to him. She has a new boyfriend, and the boy friend sounds like a wanna be tough guy. They are all at an event and the poster grabs her by the shoulders and asks her to dance, she says no. Should be end of story, but Mr. Tough Guy then goes up to the poster and in his best Stallone imitation threatens bodily harm: "If you touch her like that again, I'll beat your head in."

This is the part that kills me, she goes complete silence and does not respond to his email. Adding insult to injury, he then go on and is worried that she might be in an abusive relationship and how can he rescue her.

Really? First of all you get punked out and instead of siding with you, 10 years of friendship just went out the window for a NEW boyfriend she is just starting to date. Then you want to hop onto your white horse and save a girl that MIGHT be in an abusive relationship, which you are basing this on is him stealing your masculinity, and she probably gave that tough guy the best sex of his life by showing her how dangerous he is AT YOUR EXPENSE! Is that is someone you call a friend? I have seen and read about this in other forums, the male best friend will get dumped for a romantic relationship. So much for loyalty.

I know most of you on this forum will find this is banal; it's just that I have a military background and concepts like loyalty and friendship is suppose to mean something. So much for 10 years of friendship.
